Why was the 1.6 part 1 thread shut down?

Even with an imminent release seems odd to shut down what was interesting set of mostly positive conversations met some nice people on that thread. I don’t think you can even see it now.

Well, you can say a major infraction was made, but i dont think that was why the thread was closed, in the "chit-chat" thread crimson eminence mentioned someone explain it.
