Automobilista 2 V1.6, IMSA Track Pack, Endurance Pt2 & Lamborghini DLCs RELEASED (V1.6.3.6 Live Now)

I'm excited to test the BoP adjustments to GT3s. The Audis and Lambos have been very hard to keep up with since 1.6 dropped.

To be fair, I'm also relearning and adjusting braking zones with the adjusted — and bleepin' GLORIOUS — physics updates.

 

They just released them....

 

Setup: Engine cooling, Brake cooling, Unlimited tyres amount, ability to perfect tyre temps, unbreakable car parts, perfectly the same car parts.
Driving: Unlimited amount of laps, unlimited amount of cars and parts for it, always exact same conditions (which doesnt happen IRL), ability to crash the car million times just to get one time right, ability to race against ghost/compare perfect telemetry, ability to take others ghosts and setups.
Simulation: Ability to instantly reset a lap, zero fear of death, zero or super low in comparison physical limitations, zero wind, zero debris, zero external factors, configuration that doesnt exist IRL.

If thats "a couple of tenths" then im a saint. IMO devs are doing a good job and we only need a couple of fixes here and there, the sim is super enjoyable already, times are believable, I hope this patch will solidify current state of things.

 

The new DLC isn't discounted in the bundles just the other stuff.

 

They should be on sale on Christmas 2025.

 

Reiza usually don't wait that long before giving a discount, probably the summer sale at the latest.

 

I'm aware of that and surely the simulation for obvious reason is not 100% and will never be for the reason you mentioned but still being a second clear what's achievable irl, is a bit too much. Surely Time Trial mode is bit of arcadeish since it doesn't take in consideration many factors or a track day. Probably Reiza should think of a Time Trial PRO mode where you have set condition to meet, you have to do one outlap to warm up the tyres and a trial lap, so you can't run indefinitely, the tyres should be getting consumed the more laps you do, fuel must be taken in consideration, you can't deactivate the damages and so on. Still must be taken in consideration that certain tracks respect much more irl lap times while others don't so definitely something can be done

 

I didn't mean the car itself but I talked about the tracks too and their grip level, car for me looks good to be honest otherwise on some tracks you couldn't get realistic lap times like Silverstone indeed. Definitely grip levels in Suzuka should be readjusted , especially if the track is not 100% accurate. Actually would be nice more focus on F1 tracks as Automobilista is the only F1 sim on the market (I don't consider mods on Assetto Corsa or Rfactor2)

 

How I enjoy driving this simulation.
One thing though, why are the new tracks not utilizing my GPU to full extent and having FPS dips?
Besides that, I’m having a hell lot of fun driving all those vehicles.

Hi,

Small question regarding 'looking back' in Cockpit view, with several cars, once you look back you can see the rear-end of the vehicle, while with some others, you do not see it at all. This is a small sweet request if we can see the rear-ends of all vehicles ?

 

I would guess it is difference of camera placement.

 

GT3, GT4, and GTE cars feel incredibly sharp and responsive after the latest update—huge thanks to the talented Brazilian engineers at Reiza!

 

If the DLC was released on November 29, will there be a discount on it on December 29 ?

 

Just to report a bug, after simulating the last 3-4min of a (15m) qualify session:

 

Party game : take a drink every time he says slide or sliding. Happy Christmas.
