Has the demo been updated since 1.5 ... or in the last couple of years? I have been trying to sell people on AMS2 and they like the way it sounds, but then they try the demo on Steam and decide it feels unnatural. At this point the demo is actually preventing sales - I know of at least two instances in the past two weeks where the demo has turned people away from ASM2. It's a real pity. I would urge that it needs to be updated asap or just removed altogether. AMS2 is awesome and the more people who realize it, the better.
Source? People have been complaining about the demo being out of date for a very long time, Reiza has never said anything about it iirc, which is shame since I've seen many threads on Steam forums from people complaining about the demo and how it discouraged them from buying the game.
According to SteamDB, latest build is from 2022-09-08: https://steamdb.info/app/1786210/patchnotes/ At that time, the main build of AMS2 was on version 1.3.x
Do you need Crimson to tell you when others are saying it? If people are repeatedly saying it isn’t on V1.5, the. It probably isn’t. It maybe says it in the beta too, but IDK
You'll just have the tell them that the demo is an old build and that the full game is on a whole other level now. Sucks I know, cus I almost did the same thing. Played the demo and thought it rubbish. Got AMS2 in a bundle and well... I still thought it was naff until 1.4. Now with 1.5 it's amazing.
I've encountered people who try the demo version judging the game by the car, which is actually very bad for demonstrating this great game, and don't want to buy the full version, I had to convince them. Do you have any plans to change the car in the demo version to something more attractive?
