That's one of the reasons i'm starting to hate this game. It seems the more updates that are released,the worse it gets. I'm starting to regret investing my money into it.

 

Just to clarify something you mentioned, the HUD tire temps are a collection of various temperatures on the tire such as surface, core, side wall etc but they are not separated in a visual text way, so as an example ig your tire is reading as 100° it might be hotter in some areas of the tire and cooler in other parts.

 

I really hope to see a good, solid career mode. There is plenty of content and meaningful paths through the various classes of cars. Thank you for the good work your team is putting in for this project!

 

Good update. But the Sigma P1 G5 is now undrivable !! The car rotates out of control like crazy now. It seems like there is no rear downforce at all..feels like when the DRS is left open when you try to take a high speed corner. Moving all the downforce to the rear does not improve things. Increasing the front track bar (and decreasing the rear) does not improve the situation.

 

Have you reset the setup to default first? I personally do this after each update, to avoid getting issues because of a setting being wrong somewhere

 

Steam not running error seems to come up if you start the game via the AMS2.exe file directly which worked before. If you start it through steam or this shortcut it works fine

Have to disagree here. Of course you can drift. The current version of LMU is ridiculous where a slight slip angle spins you around in most GT3s. The key is that rotating through throttle isn't the best option anymore since the cars are way more planted and Trailbraking works flawlessly now. And while slip angle don't instantly kill your tires you will see the impact across a full race

I was able to get to my Laguna Seca Time Trial time of 1:21,0 in the Z06 GT3 within a few tries driving stable in the base setup. With a bit of trying and adjusting the setup I will definitely beat my personal best and come closer to world record.

 

I recently had a bug happening where i actually had drs open all the time on the f1 ultimate gen 2 and couldnt do anything about it. It stayed even when moving from practice to qualifying and to race, only exiting and loading into a totally new session helped.

 

Thanks for this it works perfect. This is a good workaround until if reiza decides they want to fix it,but i'm not holding my breathe.

 

Yes, tried that. This is a confirmed bug being tarcked in the bug forum now.

 

Awesome job with the tyre physics in this patch, GT3s and LMDhs finally have the sliding issue completely gone, cars have never felt so grippy and responsive. Probably the best it's ever felt in the sim, really well done, congratulations to the team! Excited to test the other cars, but really good changes overall, and a very positive step towards the right direction

I hope AMS2 will eventually get a proper intro or that the Career mode will have a cinematic flair to it, until then i have to make my own intros . And just wanted to edit another video that shows the truly huge scope of what AMS2 has to offer at this point.

Brakes still go ice cold after changing tires in pitstop (any car any track)…too bad this wasn’t addressed for this fix

 

is the formula hitech tire/active supension stuff fixed as well...? just want an clarification too.

 

Okay, so I put in a few more hours into it last night... the tire swap glitch where my flat spots on the old tires are continued on my new tires only happens one out of maybe every 10 or so pit stops... and I still have the micro-stutter and issues with textures flashing (even some signs now)...

but wow, did you guys change something in multiclass races? The way the AI behaves now if they are a slower class or being blue flagged is awesome. They'll either hold their line or get out of the way much better.... great change, whatever you guys did here!

Just wish I could have my Taiwan flag next to my name now instead of the blank black "TW" flag... AMS2 is the only sim that doesn't display my flag (iRacing, AC, ACC, etc. all have the Taiwan flag).

 

What even was the problem ?
