For me at Monza as well. Terrible performance... it also got bad when trees got "improvement".

First, great work so far, the GT3 is really a dream to drive! But would it be possible that for 4-6 hour races, the cars could appear dirtier than they currently do? And perhaps Renato could answer whether the in-game HUD will be improved, like for fuel consumption, etc

yes I also have this issue. My GPU usage don’t get higher than 75% and CPU max is 60%
I drive AMS2 in VR and I have some lags and Stuttering.
The Frame Quality gets worse when I have low fps. That is really bad.

    System:
    GPU: RX 6800
    CPU: Ryzen 7 5700X
    Ram: 32gb ddr4 3600mhz
    VR: Oculus Rift S

I bought the Quest 3S and I will test if it gets better.

Also the Temperature is not going over 60 degrees Celsius.

Hi reiza and everyone, i just want to know if the next endurance pack 3 is still to be release for this month?
If more work is needing, i am good to wait when it is ready. I am just curious since we are in the middle of the month and we didn’t receive any info. I am hype.
Thank you reiza for your good work.

I'm just glad there's another comment here. Was starting to die out a little bit.

I am also excited for the Endurance pack pt 3. I have some hopes that now we have a JSp320 model that, with some appropriately set up numbers (not a simple process I know!) we can get a separate LMP3 class for ELMS simulation fun!!

Personally I am not so interested in content, the game has so much already.

What is really important is QOL updates, bug fixes, and a big step forward with the AI. The AI, whilst good, has many weaknesses. Relative performance due to fuel load, strategic use of fuel and tyres, use of different compounds, awarness of track condition and temperature. Damage, tyre temps and wear, brake wear are out of sync with the player. The players GT3 G2 and LMP2 G2 start to suffer overheating (worn) brakes after 2hrs driving, AI has no troubles at all! The endurance cars pit for tyres earlier than for fuel, only using 10% or less of the tyre, even with fuel x3 and tyres authentic the P2, 3 and 4 classes AI pit for tyres before fuel. The player can double stint without losing significant time. They are generally rash in their decisions to overtake, no concept of risk/reward or race length - they race with "last lap" desperation all the time, no concept of racecraft! They are very fond of pit manoeuvres on corner apexs and will also push the player often damaging the rear wing. I believe this is caused by the car behind the player getting a speed boost and gives the impression of rubber banding. They steer aggressively into the player to regin position into their corridors during contact. Rejoin after leaving the track dangerously. Have no penalties for any infractions, ever. Without improvements to the above endurance racing is at best disappointing, at worst pointless, hence giving me little appetite for more endurance content.

The AI corner speed at pretty much all tracks vs the player are inconsistent, some corners they are really slow, others impossibly fast. There are at least 2 or 3 examples of this on every track. The AI is functional and slowly improving but there is still a long way to go.

The AI needs a lot of work, still. I wonder if it is a limitation of the Madness engine? Because it is the most annoying aspect of the sim.

I don't think it's a limitation of the game engine as such, more a case of the AI having very limited physics compared to the player. Arguably there are many corners at many tracks where the AI are well calibrated. There are just a few corners on each track that need attention and sadly this has been the case for a long time. I hope, seeing as the player physics and tyre model are now reaching maturity, the problematic corners/sectors can be addressed. The trouble is that as more content is added Reiza's work load is ever increased.

Paradoxally, one of ams2 main strengths, which is the incredibly variety of car / track combo makes it much harder for Reiza to fine tune the AI. I can barely imagine the Herculean task of having to fine tune so much variables and get the ai right for so many possible combinations. The current state is really good and credit to Reiza for that, but most of the criticisms on previous post are also valid and we all face it in single player more than occasionally. I feel it’s just that solving and tweaking the ai must be a challenge if we also add the variables of physics updates which still occurs regularly on AMS2. The more stable the physics, the easier should be to tackle AI behaviour.
