By lag is this latency connection wise or the FPS performance tank?

 

I'm quite happy to pay the devs for their hard work. The only thing I need to know is what time the update releases today. Wanna make sure I can set aside some time to get in some good solid driving.

 

If I was disappointed with multiclass AI until now, is it worth my time, energy and potentially mood to try it with this patch? Can they finally race at Daytona without spinning and crashing left and right?

 

Honestly it's ridicilous for anyone to complain that a company wants a moneyt for new content, which has required investment in both in work hours and licence fees. Even if some company would give something for free, it usually has some commercial motivation, like lure new buyers or reward loyal ones and hope they also spread a good word.

The cost is even so small that you hardly get a Call of Duty skin with that price.

And like Renato and others have said, it's not like it's obligatory to buy it.

I wanted to ask if there will be a driver change in ams2? Is that even planned?

 

What if it's currently uploading right now and Renato have some spare time for firefighting on forums? Or it's compiling which may take a while too.
Sometimes there are things that can't be sped up freeing the devs to do something else. I'm pretty sure they're not the slacking type.

Also, when something gets built at a 'simulation level', it obviously involves considerable work especially a project as big as the nordschleife. This might be a bad example but if anyone's into aviation and aware of DCS world, it's a military aviation simulator and per aircraft, the price is $80 or more (although I get why that and ams 2 is vastly different) but the point still stands.

$8 is vastly disproportionate to the amount of enjoyment and driving time one is bound to get out of the nordschleife.

 

I always feel like the slightest criticism is not allowed on this Forum & people get real salty if someone „attacks“ their favorite sim racing game.
I personally believe it‘s valid to not want to pay another $8 for a Track that you already own, but it‘s also valid to charge $8 for it considering all the work that has been done. Renatos explanation that the 2020 version is part of the Nürburgring Pack and the 2025 Version is a stand alone thing absolutely makes sense.

I will test the new content on the weekend & I will surely test if the frame rate still drops to unplayable in multiplayer sessions. Has nobody else got this problem?

The hate is totally unrelevant, Reiza was always open with us and also we should be happy, that they give us free trial for EVERY new DLC.
Having said that, I don't really race on the original Nords, but my money will go towards the new version, simply because I want to support Reiza. In my opinion Reiza are one of the few devs left, that keep it fair and open with their players. The prices are fair and the quality of DLCs always exceeds expectations.
In conclusion, just calm down guys and be happy that Reiza works the way they are working, unlike some other devs.

 

II understood that I will receive free update of nurb to 2025 version if I have already bought nurb pack. You don't have to buy it second time.

Renato, as I explained, I have no problem with you proposing a Nurburgring 2025 DLC. I think I used the word "optional" twice. I don't think my message was aggressive or irreverent.
I mistakenly referred to the same track, and that's, I think, what upset you. I understand that this "shortcut" doesn't live up to the work Reiza has done.
And you're right; let's move on to release day.

Please don't take the comments from all the people who are being cheeky seriously and keep your good mood for today's publication.You are doing a great job and who does not understand that licenses, work, personnel etc. cost money and that is why you cannot do a free update, apparently has problems understanding that without earning any money, has to close the shop because there is no more money for workers and licenses etc.
Everyone is entitled to criticism, but there's understandable criticism and stupid criticism. If you say it's too expensive, that it should cost €6, okay, that's understandable, but free is probably an exaggeration.Do not take the criticism to heart, most of the people here and those who play the game play it because it is simply a wonderful game which with your small team gets better after each update And it gets better.

I have one more question for everyone who has already driven the route: will the digital flags be working around the track?

It's a great track and the people are nice. They deliver an awesome amount of fun with the 24h races and the racing community at whole.

Things are getting hot without too much reason. Some people really don't understand how business works and give their best to find every little reason to turn down every project a little company like reiza comes up with. Don't let you get involved in this Renato. There are always people like that. Maybe they come from other companies, maybe they hate this game.

They are irrelevant. Your success is our success. And I am happy to buy all the new DLCs when they come out.

Looking forward to the Ligier JS2-R immensely... and got fingers crossed that its inclusion in the sim may even be a tip of the hat towards inclusion of the full Ligier European Series, including the tracks that they race on, at some point in the future

 

if you would just left the word “part” out from the dlc names, it would had caused less confusion with the season passes. “Part” makes it sound like a pack is split …
