What time is this going live?

 

So Steam let me buy the IMSA Pack that shows the Valkyrie etc as part of the content (I already have Endurance Packs 1 and 2. and basically everything else). Steam says it will download the DLC but it doesn't look like it's actually live even though it let me spend $13 on this updated IMSA listing. I hope I got it right. It's so confusing to see all the DLC "In Library" and then when I click one that isn't, it says something like "You have 5 of 6 of this in your library", but I cannot for the life of me figure out which piece in the details is the one I don't have, or why. I guess if I have the patience I can open up my AMS2 and read through each item in Steam and look for it in game to figure out what I'd actually be getting if I purchased the bundle at whatever discount it says I'll get, but man is the DLC situation a MESS. You just never know what you're missing, what you're getting, how much overlap there is between , say, a season DLC, a Endurance DLC, an IMSA DLC, a "Famous Track" DLC, etc.

I swear I need an 'audit' program that reads my AMS2 for me, says "Here's what you don't have and here's how you get it".

Oh, and Nurburgring 2025 isn't listed anywhere that I can find on Steam yet....so....there's that.

 

The 2 new DLCs haven't been released yet, you have to wait for Reiza to deploy the update. Any footage you see right now is from the beta.

 

No idea, I was just looking for early content on YT.
Usual release time is historically often in an hour or 2-3 from now.
I figured the not-for-media stuff gets lifted this close to release so there's always a few early birds that have their videos ready by now.

So you would rather there be no content added during the 4 years it took to fix the night shadow glitch ? Bit of an exaggeration but still. Some bugs take shorter and some a longer time to fix. You cannot expect that there would be zero content added to a game like this and only bug fixes made for a year or longer. Also as long as bugs are reported and we the thousands of people playing AMS2 will report how a bug happened, Reiza can figure out a way to fix it faster.

That's not exactly what I meant, my point was that if an update came out with only bug fixes and no new content I personally wouldn't be disappointed. The reality is, it is never a choice between the two as different people work on different things, creating new content doesn't take away from bugs being fixed and bugs being fixed doesn't take away from the creation of new content.

 

With the latest release moving to Public BETA, is it OK to start publishing content from the BETA?

Have watched a video of the new Nordschleife 24h layout, from what I see the big yellow kerb at Veedol is missing.
Checked Estres pole lap again and it was definitly there at the 24h race this year.

 

Unless changes have been made for release, in the preview video, the Valkyrie has a rather dull cockpit audio as compared to real life.

 

The real onboard audio from the valkyrie is quite underwhelming tbh. There is only so much Reiza can do unless they make it unrealistically loud. The downshifts are eargasmics though!

 

Except the IMSA DLC pack specifically says Valkyrie in the description.
