    UPDATE 4/28/2020

This weekend I came up with a new version which blows all prior ones out of the water, so I deleted the attached file for now. Please bear with me while I finalize my testing in the evenings. Will release as new top level post in the coming day or two.

Hmmm, works for me. Maybe posted files need to be approved by a moderator before they are available to others?

I am a bit holding back on really tweaking ini files as long the game is still early access. I will still keep an eye on this.

It was designed for DD wheels but can be used on others too. I was using this version on my T300, minus the engine vibrations which I removed, and it felt very good. But this version is no longer available. The updated version is here, but on my T300 it felt completely dead to me regardless of settings.

Hmmm, sorry to hear that Goffik. The new version has much more dynamic range in the scrub, so it’s not too surprising it doesn’t feel good on center (low scrub) for belt driven wheels. Which values for the following lines in the file work best for your T300?

    FL_scrub (soft_clip FL_scrub 5120.0 0.01))
    (FL_scrub (scoop FL_scrub 0.16 0.15))

In earlier versions the 5120.0 was around 8.6-9.6. And the scoop values were 0.8 - 0.99. If you can tell me what works well for the T300, I can release a belt version of the file.

This is not an ini file, just an extra file you put in so you have a third option for FFB Type, in addition to old default and new default.

If you choose “custom” and don’t have this file in place, the sim will create a default version of the file, with one of the default profiles (likely the “new default” at this point) so you can tweak it yourself.

I still have your old version, Release 6, which I'm currently using. The values in that one are:

    (FL_scrub (soft_clip FL_scrub 9.6 0.0))
    (FL_scrub (scoop FL_scrub 0.888 0.99))

Did you make other changes too? Just wondering if I paste the above values into your newest file, would that work ok?

Those are the main changes. See how high you can take the 9.6 which drives the dynamic range for the scrub, then you likely need to lower the scoop in order to focus in on the lower part of the curve when starting to load up the tires when turning.

If you find the 9.6 works best, then let me know.

I ve tried the new custom file and found it better then the one before!
Comparing to the new default... its more "taimed", but I also liked the "new default"...
As for the intensity of forces the New default is slighly stronger... dont know if better or worst...just different...
I have a Fanatec Csl Ps4 and used your values.. more or less the same... felt the wheel quite alive one both configs... and gibing a quite strong feed back... after driving it for 1.5 hors I felt my wrists really in some kind of pain... :)

Tested the Ultima Gt on Brands mostly... (great drive)

I like the scrub-feel in the new version but, have to reduce FX to less than 10% due to extreme road-rumble surface detail. The bigger bumps seem to be softer than with "New Default" (A good thing imo). So overall, nice work. :)

Hi, Dean, you got any definitive SC1 profiles for v0.8.4?
