I think the physics are pretty bad, Downforce is waaaaay too strong, you only have "cold tyres" when you start the race or pitted freshly,...
Nimble is also different to being easy to control. I don't think I have ever seen a driver lock up with the Porsche in reality before. But wether...
Never heard anything like that regarding the Porsche though, it was known to be extremely easy to drive and control under all conditions,...
That is the same for the GT1 Porsche, they are supposed to be really 'good' on the brakes but in AMS2 that often means you lock up too easily so...
Ferrari is known to be extremely strict with having their cars licensed in games and the conditions for it, not just the price.
I'm not sure, part of it is in the game anyway like weight distribution, Max Power/Torque, Weight, etc., but yeah, that's possible of course.
I already went through everything on Mulsanne's Corner, not too much for the GT1s that are in AMS2 sadly. Seems to be very hard to find anything...
I think it is pretty bizare you just assume the reason for everything is that you have a better time than them on the TT leaderboards.
Just because I am interested in things like drag coefficients, rotational forces, downforce values, etc. for the GT1s specifically, as I am very...
I am really curious about these and I am sure others as well, is there any way to make these accessible in some form for players? :)
From my observations the Merc and the Porsche are very close on 1-lap pace on higher downforce tracks, and the Nissan and the McLaren quite a bit...
Not sure it has been reported yet, I searched the last few pages but couldn't find anything: Time Trial leaderboards seem to be bugged on a few...
Yes, but it has already gotten significantly better this update. There still are problems in overtaking the AI are for example in the same car or...
Just had another idea regarding the Nissan R390 models. Since we all agree having both models is a cool thing for sure and it doesn't really make...
I am sorry I didn't clarify, I was talking about overall AI performance in those cars, not top speed.
Alright, only asking as for some of the classes the different tyre manufacturers that were used and there advantages/disadvantages are pretty well...
How are the AI speeds determined by the way? In GT1 right now it a very clear Merc>McLaren>Porsche>Nissan with the Nissan being extremely slow...
Is that planned for the other classes with racing compounds as well, especially the historic ones? Are there planned to be differences based on...
Agree, the problem is that the Nissan GT1 is so slow in lap time but still the fastest on the straights, so the other AI get stuck behind them...
The only full long term solution is to have enough 97 and 98 cars at some point in the (probably very distant) future to split them in seperate...
