F-USA all gens got new default setups with the 1.3.40 update. Might be that.
I assume you mean you don't have a numpad so unfortunately it won't work. You can't reassign those numpad keys, key to default view is numpad 5 only.
Top one is a oval configuration of the same car below. Maybe he want's that, and it's probably coming with the oval part of the USA pack.
Can be done with dashboard apps. I use Dashpanel, not for that though, but it has a full track map and it can be set as an overlay in game or use...

To reset camera hit first ctrl+k and then numpad 5. Note that you need to hit ctrl+k two times again to get back to the default camera set mode....
This plus Le Mans, or even "Totally Not Le Mans" would be sweet.

You wont loose anything, just rename it back to Automobilista 2 if it doesn't fix your problem. For example I usually rename it to Automobilista...
