I think he is thinking that the graphics update could tank ams2 very hard.
I think there will be an impact but hopefully not that bad.

I tested another sim with graphic updates yesterday. It is a huge jump there and done very well. Are the graphic changes in 1.6 similar to that?...
Search for VRperfkit_rsf there are also upscaling techniques implemented. Downside: it has no UI ingame. Everything you have to setup before...
