Have you tried mapping the switch camera button? (game controls settings) There is a bug that can cause the player to spawn in bumper cam.
I actually prefer increased rear wing and lowered rear ARB with the MCR2000 (and lowered front bump damper + increased rear ride height still)...
If you need more unrestricted turn-in for them, try decreasing front bump damper setting (if given) and lower front ARB, increase rear ride height...
