Thats true. I think they`re adding min force as a slider in ffb settings so that should be more straightforward
Have you tried the min force setting in custom ffb? Maybe thatll make a difference to centre deadzone.
Can't settle on settings quite yet but Fx between 0-10 seems best for G29. Per car multiplier will help a lot. One test I consistently do with ffb...

I would say I've noticed this behaviour. It's definitely more noticeable at lower speed corners. Virgina raceway is a good example.
