Is it a DLC car? I have been on DLC tracks without the DLC, but it has to be a non-DLC car.
Did you check the date? I did the same thing but mine was set to "default date" rather than "current date".

I went from g29 pedals to the LCMs, had to go into button assignment to set them before you can calibrate them.
It looks great in replays on the open cockpit stuff, one problem is there is no way to lock the camera to this view in the replays.
