I can’t talk about the competitiveness of Super GT, but I much prefer the look of prototypes over GT cars so I wouldn’t say it’s the best.
AMS2 is lacking everything Asian, tracks and cars

You can buy both DLCs in AMS2 for less than two of the LMDh cars in IRacing
I haven’t noticed anything, but I’m not using it for my wheel
I’m happy that I’m a beta member. Maybe a bit more expensive, but no need to budget for future DLCs
I use vjoy for my button box and my steering wheel without it. No issues
