dont think any of us here are beginners here mate, but the one with slicks does feel more like a real car and not has that "rf2 must be hard so much be real" trait.
I drove the regional on boring tracks and the national on the more technical tracks. As painful as it is I still think the regional is more punishing and therefore more instructional if have patience and faith. But I digress from topic. Back to the Vee, boys.
One area where AMS gives a significant advantage over other titles is with tire noise IMO, when it comes to managing grip levels. The subtleties and range of tire noise allows excellent grip-level awareness for me; that combined with great FFB makes driving the car near the edge pure pleasure.
