It would be nice if at some stage suspension damage became visual with bending not just coming off in one piece

today I'll update the DPi class

The class currently have only one car, I heard rumors of a possible second car on the way but well I can only analyze what we have now.

The current damage for the caddy DPi is not very good, it have medium body deformation, nice scathe decals and can lose the rear wing, that's is sadly. woulda been nice if they added dangling parts in the future, maybe the hood/suspension covers, engine cover and rear bumper and diffuser

    upload_2023-7-7_9-34-18.png

for now that's all the prototypes covered (until they add new ones)

for next I'll do GT5, copa Uno and maybe GT Open

    Another day another class

I kinda realized there was no need for doing the beetle and uno separately, since their models are also included in other classes with the same damage model but since i took the screenshot already why the hell not?

the uno have a great damage model, great deformation, scratches, can crack the windscreen headlights taillights, can lose the front and rear bumper and the hood

Last one for the day, the GT5 class, we have the Ginetta G40 and the Puma P052

let's start with the british boi
The Ginetta (the damage model also count for the Ginneta G40 cup car), can lose Hood, rear bumper, rear wing , the trunk, have minor body deformation and good scratches.
    upload_2023-7-7_9-53-8.png

Now the Puma, my favourite of them two, the P052 is based on the brand new Puma GT Lumimari, a car that had a very long development cicle and from what i heard only last year it started delivering the cars for the customers the car in AMS 2 can lose only 3 parts, the hood, rear wing and the engine cover. bu despite lo losing any bumper (wich i think it should) it kinda compensate that with great body deformation.

A pity the wheels are always perfectly aligned even if the suspension is completely bent/broken.

Lads I was hoping for 1.5 to improve or add some damage models for the cars that don't have one but since that didn't happened I'll just keep doing what I was doing.

GT4 will take a bit cuz it's a lot of cars All thought if my memory it correct they're all under the same standard just like the GTE cars

so before that I'll probably cover the GT Club and classic GT since those have a pretty complete damage model, I'll Skip the GT1 for now until they fix the 911 GT1 hood/wheel covers bug, something i shoulda had done with group C btw considering the sauber and the low downforce 962 issues

After gt4 I'll finalize the touring cars since I have covered the brazilian ones, Group A have a great damage model and all vintage touring cars do as well

Oh I might do the RX cars very soon too, I'm having a blast with them, and I'll do a short update for P1 since we got the gen 2 now, all thought the only change is the new sigma which does have slight changes to the old P2 sigma, rest of the cars same damage as gen 1

Finally tested all the GT4 cars, the damage model vary between them however all of them have a quite good damage model despite the differences

Let's start with the BMW M4 GT4. It have a great model with moderate body deformation, and can lose/damage the hood, front and rear bumper, trunk and the rear wing
    upload_2023-8-29_15-28-12.png
    Now the Ginetta.
Pretty decent deformation for the body, can can loose the whole rear of the car in a singular part (it can also dangle) whe wing also falls off as a separate element, can lose the front bumper and the hood, only criticism really is that the front splitter and rear diffuser can't fall off but that's a minor issue to be fair
    upload_2023-8-29_15-33-10.png

Porsche Cayman, have moderate body deformation, can lose front and rear bumpers, rear wing and the hood, another solid damage model again
    upload_2023-8-29_15-35-8.png

Camaro is the same as the Cayman, moderate deformation and can lose the same parts
    upload_2023-8-29_15-36-15.png

and again same for the Mercedes
    upload_2023-8-29_15-36-57.png

and last but not least the McLaren GT4, again moderate deformation, can lose the front bumper, rear bumper (that reveal a good chunk of the engine and exhaust), rear wing, hood and the tiny engine cover

Now for GT Open, that should finalize modern GT cars for now (until Aston Cars arrive or until we get the Le Mans DLC)

All of them have great damage and decent body deformation

Let's start with the Ginetta, it have basically a very similar damage model to its younger GT4 brother, can lose rear wing, front bumper, the whole rear including the fender area and the hood, and also keep the same tiny issue with the diffuser and splitter.
    upload_2023-8-29_15-46-50.png

now the Ultima GTR, the one that is more fun to drive without abs or tc
It can Lose the rear wing, the engine cover and the hood/wheel covers
    upload_2023-8-29_15-48-59.png

that should end it for today, for next I'll check the Classic gt and touring cars and maybe DTM

Okay update time and this time as promised the GT Classics
Both cars in there are gorgeous and I felt a bit bad about crashing them on purpose, but had to do it

First the Porsche. Definitely the one with the best handling, it is an absolute blast to drive, and it have a great damage model as well with great deformation and for dangling/detachable part it have the front and rear bumper, the hood and the engine cover along that big rear wing, the lights can be cracked as well and i believe the windows too
    upload_2023-9-5_15-38-39.png

Now for the Corvette C3R, a quite challenging one to drive, lots of torque and very poor brakes for its weight, a total bad ass car, love how the hood shakes when reaching high RPM. it have great deformation however can only lose two parts, the front bumper and the hood, all though to be fair it doesn't have a rear bumper or wing to lose in the back

Now all the classic touring cars, tonight if time allows I'll try the DTM and maybe the Aussie cars or the caterhams, after I'm done with touring, and sport cars/prototypes I'll go for the one make and road cars and then I'll start with open wheelers (apart from the american ones that I already covered) for dirt cars I might delay it until extreme pack part 2 or do it before open wheelers idk

for now I'll avoid talking about the gt1's cuz some weird stuff is happening to their damage model, the CLK LM damage model got nerfed, it coulda lose the hood before 1.5 now it can't and the 911 GT1 hood damage is a bit weird with the car needing two strong front hits to lose the hood, it is literally easier to rip off the wheels of the car then the hood for some reason, the McLaren have a great damage model thought and the Nissan one its ok, but I feel that it shoulda also lose the rear bumper

Lets start vintage touring with the slower ones. each of the 2 classes have 2 cars, i wonder if more could be added, I kinda feel that for the class 1 it coulda have a classic mercedes SL at least from the brands Reiza have a good relationship with

But lets begin and with the most interesting one of the bunch, the lotus 23. It looks like a mini 1960's Le Mans prototype however it have almost no power with less than a 100hp, it handles like a dream and its quite fun to play with. It also have a good damage model all though the car looks kinda funny after losing is detachable parts which are the hood/wheel covers and the engine cover.

as you can see the doors look kinda funny being the only non detachable part of the car
    upload_2023-9-5_16-14-49.png

Now the Mini, a revolutionary car for the time maximizing passenger space, and was quite popular both in rally and touring car racing at the time. It have a decent deformation, can lose front and rear bumper, hood, trunk and the rear bumper.

And thanks to the way that the trunk opens it can make this funny scene here: upload_2023-9-5_16-16-22.png

Now for the big boys, we got the beautiful BMW 2002 and the corvette C3

Lets start with the corvette, its damage model shares a lot in common with its mightier and scarier brother the C3R, only difference being it now actually have a rear bumper to lose, and the cool thing is that the rear bumper is a two piece and each piece can damage/fall separately
    upload_2023-9-5_16-25-29.png

Now the BMW 2002, have a great damage model with great body deformation, can lose front and rear bumper, the hood and the trunk.
However there are issues as some textures an small parts do not deform along the body of the car and end up floating in a similar way to the taillights of the Montana and the corolla Stock car, but in a much more dramatic and noticeable way
    upload_2023-9-5_16-29-21.png
this bug also happens with the front grill but is more noticeable at the rear

new lets do the Australian cars featured in the game

first the funny Aussie Cars which only feature a ARC Camaro (woulda been cool to see more additions)

Its a fun lil car to drive and have an ok damage model. have decent deformation and can lose the whole front in a single part (containing the fenders, hood and bumper), can also lose the rear wing and the trunk

Now for the Australian big boys, or in this case big boy (again woulda been cool to see new additions and maybe even more generations with an aussie DLC with the ford and maybe some other cars added)

we got a reiza super V8 (that is definitely not a Holden) (in all seriousness couldn't GM hand Reiza the Holden license? As far as I'm aware both have a good relationship)
Despite being a fictional model the damage model is quite a standard one when it comes to reiza gt and touring cars, good deformation and scratches, and can lose/damage, both front and rear bumper, the rear wing, and the hood.
