AMS1 working in VR

I have to try holding 0, did a restart of game and always play in cockpit view, no difference, the thing is like the building inclinates to a side or the other depending on where you turn the headset, and an effect of narrowed FOV

 

I'd help with a little more testing for the Rift S, but right now i have issues running the game even in monitor mode. I'll try to fix the issue next week, so i can test the new version of the mod.

 

hello, I use cv1 and I have tried with (alternateRenderingMode = 1) but it remains the same, moving the head to the sides stretches the image leaning ..

The same that Dani hc, tried holding 0 and alternate rendering mode, the issues still there.

 

First of all I want to thank you for the effort to make this dream come true! I have an Rft CV1, I tested the first version and it worked correctly, but there is a distortion when moving the head, similar when using prescription glasses, since the second version, I couldn't make it work, even following the same steps as the previous version , the screen with the texts in the upper part no longer appears on the VR display, and when I enter the game, neither recognizes the movement of the head nor the image appears on the display.

 

I have the Odyssey+, they are good cost value, if you can still find them.

This version doesn't work for me, I had to return to the previous version.
I deleted the d3d9_2.dll file and I didn't have any freeze after that. I ran a couple of races without problems.
Many thanks for this app, it brought AMS back to live, I cannot thank you enough

 

WMR Lenovo headset.
Have no issues with version 2 and alternateRenderingMode = 1
Might even prefer that mode as i felt the 3D close up looked more sharp but might be placebo.

 

THANK YOU !!!!! Crew chief. Another donation incoming. I have it working on a Reverb G2.... Its early yet but works nicely. I have some adjusting to do for framerate and smoothness. But overall looks great already.

 

The beta zip has been updated again - same download location. As before, we can't test on rift and rift s so I'd be grateful if any users who were having problems with these headsets could give it a try and leave feedback.

this version should also fix freezes some users were having and it should perform noticably better

 

Hello, my game freezes when I hit ESC

 

did you set "Exit confirmation menu" to false?

 

YES, I have it set like this:
Exit Confirmation Menu="0" // 0=none, 1=race only, 2=always

 

This happens to me also if I just open game from AMS folder and not as admin. Game freezes and only way to exit is shut down WMR.

Starting AMS with "Run as administrator" FIXES it for me.

Another update folks. We *finally* found and fixed the perspective distortion in Rift headsets, and had proper confirmation that it's now correct. So please re-download it from the same link and try again.

 

With this latest version the deformations in rift have been fixed .. thanks !!! You have done a spectacular job.

Yes, now is working without deformation on rift CV1, now i had some freezing, I will try to low the settings, Thanks!

 

I cant replicate the freezing so you will have to live with that for now.

 

Have been enjoying GTR2 and P&G3 in VR lately, looks like I have to buy AMS! now.... Awesome work with the implementation. I have a CV1 headset, and have been quite dormant playing in VR up into the last few days. It's so damn fun to try out new/old games in VR.
