AMS2 blocking hotkeys

Hey guys, is there anyway to send hotkeys outside of AMS2? I want to clip and record videos but I can‘t send hotkeys when AMS2 is in focus. I always have to alt tap out to the desktop and back which is of course not possible in a race.

I tried borderless and normal fullscreen. no chance.

Any ideas?

Even Task Manager can't be opened from within AMS2...

OR windows gaming recording
both works well

 

good to know, so it must be a settings problem... but what?

 

or... some bank security program block that...
some of them prevents key hooking. disable them if exists

 

Do hotkeys work in PC2?

 

I uses Nvidia Experience and Medal. Works with no need to modify any settings

 

Good idea, but it's a pure sim racing pc without any other software.

Unfortunately I don't have PC2, but it works in all others sims (AC, ACC, RF2, RRRE,...)

 

After some testing I think AMS2 window modes are totally broken. No matter what I choose I always looks the same. I tried changing with the config file and in the game itself but it always looks the same. If I change to window mode I should be able to see the window border, right? looks like I'm stuck in full screen mode.

Even if I delete my whole user folder nothing changes... what is going on???
