Hi all, can anyone help me figure out what I'm doing wrong? I have a longstanding dedicated server that lives on my local network, nothing has changed in terms of the local IP, firewall rules, or port forwarding rules. Ever since this latest update, though, I cannot see my dedicated server listed anymore. Am I missing something here? I'm really confused what might have changed, I was able to play games on the server with my friends as of two weeks ago, have made no adjustments in the meantime (other than updating it per 1.6), and it's no longer broadcasting.

This is really odd, some more details...
Even with a fresh install of the dedicated server tool (I've tried installing from both the quick start.zip and right from the steam UI), I cannot see my server broadcasting even when my devices are on the same local network...

I've tried this from two different laptops with no success. Firewall settings and port forwarding shouldn't be necessary in these cases, correct? If it's on the same local network, is there any reason my client wouldn't be finding them in the server list?

firewall on your pc does need to allow it, as that blocks ports for that pc, and they are also needed to be able to see the server in the lobby list

    I get a look
I tried going back from the beginning to check the syntax. But more than that I don't know what to do.

Is there a way to start an automatic rotation of events in the up Empero Server Manager?

Just wondering if there will be a way to reduce the AI aggression on a dedicated server in the future...?

just wondering, if people will learn to ask straight questions, instead hiding it behind guesses and speculations ;)
e.g. Will it be possible to control AI on dedicated servers? or similar ;)

Is there much difference in connection quality between a dedicated server and a server created via p2p? For example, if I can create a server for 20 people via a p2p server, can I get more bandwidth via a dedicated server on the same machine and network, or does it remain the same?

When I've tested in the past with our league members, a DS added about 5 to 10ms of latency to everyone vs just using P2P multiplayer hosted on my PC. However the added benefits of the DS far outweighed hosting on the local PC.
