1. Are there any plans to add weight penalties to drivers based on their Steam IDs in the near future?
2. Are there plans have a tow to pits option if a car get heavily damaged in the near future so people can repair their car and continue to race after a set timeout, eg: 2mins?

Only Race1 can be configured on DS - No Option for Race2 like what you can get from Single Player Championship mode.

I have rented a server again since the update to 1.6. Unfortunately the WebAPi does not work
After entering the correct user name and password, it always jumps back to the login.
The entries are all as they should be. Is there a known bug since the update ? Or a tip on how I can fix this "error"?

I have a bit of a weird problem that I can't understand.
I have a Windows 11 under proxmox, where I have certain firewall rules for security so that this machine is not accessible by the rest of the network and the rest of my network cannot access it. So far I have not had problems hosting several servers of different games, but with the AMS2 server I have a problem, when I enable this rule (DROP 192.168.1.0/24) the server starts but it is not visible from the game lobby, at the time I remove this rule it is visible, what could be happening?

I have 2 questions:
- Is it possible to empty the file "lua_config/sms_stats_data.json" ?
Everytime I delete the file, it came back with the same data.

- Is it possible to execute a script after each race?
I want to backup the file "lua_config/sms_stats_data.json" (rename) and start a brand new one.

Today I'm keeping the last 10 sessions ("history_length" : 10,)

And regarding the second question? Can we automate some task after each race?

 

I'm thinking about creating a script like that:
1- Start the AMS2 server
2- Rename sms_stats_data.json to sms_stats_data_YYMMDD_HHMM.json
3- Go to step 1 again (=start server)

But the server has to stop after the Race.
Is it possible?

you might wanna consider JustRace.net, they allow you to run on your own server with their server manager, but automates server creation/results/championship management and much more, and all totally free as well.

 

So you can do all the server configuration etc. from the justrace site? Just get your server up and running and the rest of config via JustRace?

 

Yeah, basically that's how it works, install their servermanager on your server, install the ams2 dedi through it, and you can schedule events/championships through the justrace site
