I just boughh AMS2 on my PC and I can not get AMS2 to recognize my fanatec CSL steering wheel gt3 using the fanatec clubsport DD+ wheelbase. Please help. I also have simnet pedals but have not even gotten there yet. FYI I did set my wheel to 360 degrees in the fanatec software, came back to AMS2 and still did not recognize the wheel when I turned it. Tried custom, direct drive generic, fanatec--nothing worked progress. got the wheel and pedals to communicate but the sensitivity of the wheel in the game is off...it is not turning as much as my fanatec wheel. Solutions? Thanks.
Use the steering calibration feature to set the max angle the same as you have set in your Fanatec settings app. It will prompt you to turn the wheel to max lock and then click a button, do that, and then it will prompt you to turn the wheel 90 degrees. What it means is return to centre and then turn 90 degrees. When you are doing that step it will show a number on screen that is the angle it has worked out. If you do this correctly then at 90 degrees that number should be close to or even exactly the same as you have set in the Fanatec app. Ensure that steering sensitivity is set to 50 in AMS2. 50 is linear, less than 50 will make it turn less for small steering angles, and more than 50 will make it turn more for small steering angles. Consider using a larger max angle in the Fanatec software - AMS2 will adjust the lock per car anyway. Though if you change that after step 1 you should repeat step 1 again. Enjoy
You have to calibrate the wheel in AMS2 to match your degree on the drive. Honestly I wouldn't recommend 360° since you will lack any detail to steer a car and just have way too harsh inputs, 900 or 1080 is the usual way you want to go for in AMS2.
