i have been making some livery's for these cars.
The issue i am seeing, even though im following my normal process is ghosting on the None editable carbon areas of the car.
This has not happened with other livery's I've created in the past. So can only presume that its in the game.
i presume that none editable areas of the car should not reflect or pick up any image from the livery overlay.
could you advise, as ive not as yet found a way to fix this and remove the ghosting.
i not seen this issue before on other cars ive created.( and there has been a lot)

NOTE:
XML set to "Chrome"
body layer on its own - no ghosting
body layer & specular + alpha - no ghosting
when fresnal layer is added the ghosting is visible
ive attached a few images for reference

hope someone can advise me as i tried several methods and cannot remove the overlay on the non editable carbon areas.

 

The audio of all mod cars have now lost their engine noise/sound, anyone else noticed it?

 

I havent noticed (since I have not launch the release yet). This is typical when reiza changes the sound file format due to some kind of development.

The way to fix this if you know what you are doing is swapping a .csdbin file of an existing car in game by the one in the mod (using the filename in the mod). You need to extract game files first to access them. Thunderflash's web tutorial is a good place to start.

Does anyone happen to have the original music file for the game? I forgot to make a backup and the current music mod I have has left me underwhelmed. Thanks.

 

Have you tried verifying files in Steam?

 

Any ideas when we can expect custom driver suits and helmets to work for the new US stock cars ? As even with the xml command nothing comes up.
