AMS2 Mods by Virtual Racing Cars LLC

I mean if that is the case, most likely one of the cars you are installing is creating a conflict with our car. Since most cars share multiple assets with each other this will be the issue. Unfortunately for us it is impossible to troubleshoot something like this, because we would need all modded cars for AMS2 and double check if some of the cars might overwrite files which are needed for the operation in V1.5 and the chevrette itself. These problems would be avoidable if we had more tools available to us to create cars in AMS2 properly.

 

All right. Thanks. I only thought there was a problem with Chevy because that's the one that doesn't work, the other mods don't bother Chevy.

 

The Chevette seems to have some sort of LOD issue. I think its the rear wing that becomes white

 

The rear wing used to be transparent or "see through" on the car. Depending of the color of the rear wing you can see it more clearly and due to how the shaders are working in AMS2 if the sun light hits the wing it can appear fairly bright. So, it is intended to look like this.

We've added compatibility with AMS2 patch 1.5.5.0 for both the AMS2 | ARC - Auriel 90 GTO V1.5 and AMS2 | ARC - Chevrette 28 V1.3. From now on, these mod(s) require AMS2 Content Manager to be installed! Thanks to "paoloambrosio" for making the mod installation process in AMS2 easier. Do you have any plans on bringing the Tourers to AMS 2?
I really like the work you do/will do/did!

 

At the moment we aren't working on it. But don't get me wrong. This is certainly something we're looking into if the timing is right.

 

Guys, I've bought today the VRC AMS2 pack ... installed via content manager... the cars shows up in game but then everytime the game crashes, both with auriel and the chevrette (I tried test day and single race)... what i've to do?


(i have no other mods installed)


(UPDATE: I tried out of curiosity other mods - a track and an indy one - they work fine ... maybe it's a problem with today update from AMS?)

 

same here. Both cars lead to a bugsplat

for the record: extracted both zip files from inside the tgz-file and installed the zip´s with content manager

 

I hope it's a problem with the new small patch released today by Reiza

(I also checked the integrity of files... nothing changed)

 

Working my end, but i had to re-pack the zip, unsure if i am wrong but in the zip folder the userdata folder had a . before the file name, try removing the fullstop

 

correct, this seems to be the issue. Renaming the folder .userdata to userdata inside both zip-files does the job

It'd be great if you could port your other mods as well. I'd love to drive the 90's BTCC legends in AMS2.

 

It would literally be a dream scenario. I'd gladly pay like 25 bucks for it!
In fact, any mod they'd port, would be an instant buy.
