Can anyone give me some advice on screenshots?
I struggle with motion blur and shutter speed. I can't find a reliable way to keep the cars in focus and the track blurred... I even think the screenshot mode is bugged sometimes.

    Thanks :)

Try the aperture. The smaller the value, the more the background is blurred.
Shutter speed is the time for taking a shot. The longer time the more the object is blurried.

Thanks, but I'm okay with the depth of field (most of the time).
My main problem is when trying to get a "speed feeling" with low shutter speeds. I can't keep the cars sharp and the track blurred :/
I can't understand how the "speed tracking" setting actually works. What's -10 and what's + 10 for example.

The same to me, what exactly "speed tracking" is I don't know. It's something like wiping. I think -/+ is left or right, 1...10 the amount.
It is a bit of trying.
But on the other hand, in my opinion, the screenshot mode is buggy.
Sometimes when switching to screenshot mode you get a sharp picture, sometimes a total blurred. It's like an easter suprise:)
Going back an take a second later a screenshot, then everything can be different.
I don't know if this is an AMS2 or a platform issue.

It's hard to answer the question as long not known what really should be the gain.
Because some pictures are created by accident, some with purpose....
Maybe you have an example what kind of art you like to have?

Can someone please explain how copyright would work with if I used a picture from this thread on the wiki if I said who took it?

Most screenshots of a game would probably fall under fair use anyway regardless of who decides or thinks they own a copyright. The context in which you're using them may well cement that too (e.g if you were writing a review of a game)

More technically though a video or screenshot of a game is either owned by the game developer entirely or a derivative work. In the latter case the copyright would be held both by the owners of the original work (the game developer or their publisher) and whoever takes the screen shot.

But you'd perhaps have to argue about whether a screenshot put any creative or copyrightable element into it. In many cases it won't. e.g a screenshot of a cutscene is likely fully owned by the game developer since the screenshotter isn't arranging or composing any of the elements in the displayed image. It's like ripping a page out of a book doesn't create a derived work. Whereas writing a version of Hamlet that's set in the UK using modern language would be.

The 'take a picture' mode may differ here. You might argue that it allows creative choices. You also have to take into account what rights you get over your screenshots or videos conveyed by the license for the game.

Typically though game developers are usually quite permissive in terms of letting people create youtube content, twitch streams and similar. Including monetising them. Some have not been though although I suspect given the large amount of videos on youtube for this game you'll be fine from Reiza's perspective.

Personally I wouldn't fret too much about the people who have posted screenshots claiming copyright for them. Seek proper legal advice if you're fretting about it though - making your own screenshots would probably be easier and cheaper than that though...
