AMS2: The ‘Not-a-Priority Things to Fix’ List

Please extend the number of garage spots at the Bugatti Circuit. Although it uses the same garage as Le Mans, it’s currently set to 32.

 

Period-correct spectators. The more vintage tracks have spectators standing in dangerous spots all around the track which is great, but they've all got modern clothes on.

Not an issue if you're a competent driver and don't spin out all the time but it's something I've noticed

 

Weather correct spectators would be a nice touch too.

 

Tire pressures for Oval Setups on all cars are wrong. RIGHT side pressures have to be higher, LEFT have to be lower. So these numbers have to be flipped the other way around. Or in other words right front highest number, left rear lowest of these.

 

But thats just the starting pressures. Once the tyres are up to normal working temps, the right side will always be higher. What matters more here i think is the camber rather than the pressures

 

Choosing Tyre Compound "Automatic by Weather" should be revised or removed as it is currently not working as intended.

For example the Formula Trainer has the compounds "Semi-Slick" and "Wet" and the game is still prefering the Slicks when Wheater Type is "Rain" and the Track is "Very Wet".
This can lead to unpleasant surprises when changing tires if you rely on the automatic tire selection.

 

It's probably just me but the (full) moon is friggin huge in VR. I guess the skybox looks good on flat screen but in VR it is kind of distracting.

 

Spekaing of setups: I'm confused about the fuel calculations after the update. Before, when starting a new race, the game will choose the fuel amount just enough to finish the race. It was very bugged though. But now that's not the case? Help please!

 

Can we please get dirt textures at RX tracks just like with the Viper GTS-R at Road America for example (see video attached)?
I was going off on grass while practicing in the rain when I noticed that the Viper was getting dirty very fast. So I tested the Polo RX at Ascurra and noticed that it didn't get dirty during one entire lap. To make sure that it was not the Polo I tried the Viper at Ascurra which didn't get dirty either and I tried the Polo RX at Road America.

 

I mainly run 10 lap races and sometime before one of the 1.6 updates there used to be two lap counters on the leader board. You have the main big number in the upper left corner, then there was a smaller one on top of the right side of the leader board column. That one was always correct and I would like to see it returned to that graphic.

The reason it's important is that there is an occasional glitch on starts where you would take the green flag for lap one but the big number in the upper left corner stays on 0. That means you're always one lap behind. If I didn't catch it at the start, I'm coming around to end lap 9 getting ready for the final lap but the race ends because that was actually lap 10. In the past you always had that correct smaller lap counter you could rely on, now it's gone.

 

"Particle Detail" should have a description that also says "Affects skybox quality", because i am certain a lot of people set this to "LOW" but do not know that then clouds become a pixelated mess.

 

Track classifications need attention.
The "Temporary" category doesn't seem to mean anything. Currently it's threw airport layouts and one street circuit. If it's going to be there all street circuits should go in including Monaco but imo there's no point and we should find another way to search by Street/Temporary.

Not all historic circuits show up under Historic. 2001 Hockenheim is there but not the 2005 ones.

Tiny bit of attention to fix this in the next update please
