Great Skinpack. I take it that this is for the Formula Ultimate 2022? Will you be making it fit the new Formula Ultimate 2024 seeing as you can longer load the old FU 2022? Keep up your incredible work, and, thanks.

Unfortunately NOPE, only for Helmets you get a 3D blender model.

I was just experimenting with F-Ultimate Gen2 (I usually are historic fan), installed liveries and then, oops, skins are absent, update... BTW I watched some F1 23 (game) videos, and damage seems much better there. In AMS2 such suspension damage is absent, I really hate this, many years I haven't seen such thing. Really strange when I hit wall in high speed - wheel detaches, and that's all. In F1 23 you see more real suspension breakage.

Yup, folder name is now different, and the skin template so even when you rename 2022 to 2024, it just maps it incorrectly.

Regarding the F1 game comment, that's probably the only thing they do better, so no biggie.

 

They also have the best AI in all of racing, i played the My Team modes in several of the games for a total of Hundreds of hours because there is no better AI racing available. Plus all tracks, all teams, real performance for each car and team .. But that is not a discussion for this part of the forum.

 

Yeah, Whilst the AI is definately better in the F1 games.
The other components (Performance of each car, tracks, teams) - in my opinion, Should be much better in the F1 game. As they only have one class of car / series to emulate. (with license to do so).

So i dont think you can hold those against AMS2.

In a similar vein, that ACC (regardless of how you feel about the game) definately handles GT3 regulations / events better than AMS2. (Limited tyre sets, online driver swaps, all tracks etc)
And so they should, as they only have that one license to worry about.

AMS2s great strength, is its essentially a "Sandbox". Allowing you to race combinations that are just not possible elsewhere.

 

Indeed, but F1 also can't hold a candle to AMS'2 depth in both content and physics simulations.

I.e. the simplified the physics, the easier to program AI for it

Yes liveries I noticed have a different UV mapping in new liveries, but I wanted to ask, is their a way in F1 xx PC to "monitor' race if I retire? Are AI retirements there?
AMS2 also has big plus like mouse support in menus.

Regarding this, Reiza really need to create a image preview generator, like AC CM has. Just a little something you can activate in-game that will create Reiza-style image previews on the spot.

 

Yes, the old F1 2024 Skinpack Version already had this. The first release might only feature the old F-Ult G2 Car in it though. It depends on how much time I have in the next few days.
