AMS2 - User Livery Overrides

Problem with custom livery for Porsche 991 GT3R: internal banner not showing up.
Maybe someone here can help me. I made a livery for the Porsche 991 GT3R. All is fine, but the internal windscreen banner is not showing up. The “porsche_991_gt3r_dist.xml” defines a 1024x256 DXT5 with MIPs, but the banner template from the” AMS2_Porsche_991_gt3r_2016_template.rar” is 1024x128. I tried both resolutions for the banner.dds, but had no success. In cockpit view in game there is only the black transparent stripe, but no logo.

Another day, another Courage.

Now that I've got four skins together, I'd like to release these. The one thing that's holding me back are the preview images. Is there an up to date guide anywhere on how to do Reiza-style previews anywhere? Every attempt on my part ends up looking terrible.

 

I would love to see this. I just retired from Milwaukee after 33 years. ... If there is any skilled painter out there, please PM me!

Hello all
Is there some way to add liveries to specific cars? I mean, if we could race the BT52 online (only that car, I mean), would be great to have 20 (fictional) skins for it, instead of just two.

Only Reiza can add them. We just had the same. Topic for the F-Reiza. Alain and I did 4 fictional liveries for those cars and Reiza added them to the game so that we have now 24 livery slots. But this has taken months.

 

The 2001 Pescarolo is next up. This one was a pain, thanks to the sheer volume of small sponsor logos and very few clear pictorial references available.

 

wasnt the silver metallic though? i just learned how to do that if you need help great skin though

 

It definitely was. I struggled to figure out how exactly to make the SilverMetallic flag work properly, and I think I bodged something together through trial and error with Paint.net to make it a little bit metallic but not properly so. If you can help, I can send you a link later today.

 

I believe the Silvermetallic effect could be stronger anyways, as it can be seen on the 2012 F1 Mercedes for example.
