AMS2 - User Livery Overrides

So the Ginetta G40 has a PSD for the banner in the template zip, however the banner override doesn’t seem to work. Does it have an overridable banner?

Mühlner Motorsport is the next team that showcased their IMSA 2026 livery for Daytona. In preparation for my 2026 IMSA GT3 bundle, you can already drive the Mühlner Porsche in AMS2 now.

The livery is based on the first official renderings of the car.

In the zip file you will find three versions:

• One to simply install it via the AMS2 Content Manager
• One file if you want to install it manually (e.g. if you already have other Porsche GT3 liveries installed).
• One file for the CM that works with my IMSA GT3 Bundle (this also installs the AI file)

This is the second car for upcoming 2026 IMSA Season, you can find the DragonSpeed Corvette #81 under my mods on Overtake. Also check out my whole 2025 IMSA GT3 Bundle.

Because I apparently like making things difficult for myself, I decided to try and make a rendition of the 1998 AMPM Courage C50. This is far from a 1:1 replica, largely due to to there being so little high resolution reference material, but I think it does a good job of capturing the overall vibe of the original livery.

One more skin to go, and then I've got a complete pack.

 

The final piece of the Courage pack is complete. This one is based on the 2006 Pescarolo Le Mans livery.

@jeanvendors , I cannot begin to express how happy I am with your Ginetta G40 Cup Beer League skin pack. The are all extremely clean and I love how they all loosely follow a cohesive design between the options in the set. Passing or being passed by each of these cars continues to be a hoot, even after I've run several 2-hour sprints with them.

I didn't pay much mind to the AI names at first, but then I realized I had heard of Mike Hickenbottom before and then I looked closely at the others and had a big chuckle. I look forward to more of your work (should you decided to keep at it). I know you previously mentioned working on a German Group A/1992 DTM collection. Being my favorite class in AMS2, I'd love to see what you have cooked up. In the meantime, I'd imagine we will be well into 2026 before I get tired of these new G40s!

 

I’m happy to hear you enjoy it! I do spend a lot of time digging up names for my AI groups.
My next project is probably gonna be wrapping up my GT4 pack as I released it just before two whole new cars got added… but I’ll try and do something with the DTMs soon enough.

 

I always thought the factory Audi liveries of the 2000's were painfully bland. So I had a thought to look back to the past and try to adapt a classic livery to a more modern shape. Here's a pair of R8's with a livery based loosely on Audi's 1991 DTM design. Release coming soon.

Does anyone know what causes these lines to show up when looking at the car from further angles? I was trying to use the silver metallic paint shader and everything looks fine until I pull the camera out and the grid starts to appear on the black parts of the car.

Aston Martin livery’s seem to have an issue when you use chrome and a fresnel file it applies shadow images to the none editable carbon areas can this be checked

 

Did you turn off the grid layer UVOr USLayer before saving that’s what it looks like to me thetemlate layer is still visible

Copa Trucks - Nascar Liveries
New Previews for all 5 types now part of the livery pack.

 

Hi, probably when saving this livery in dds, you leave the uv map layer as visible and now is merged in the flatten image. You have to reopen the psd (hoping you save it), set the uv layer as hidden and save the dds again

 

Can we please get a complete C5R template?

I would like to add custom helmets to Formula Vee, but obviously, that does not work.
They do not show up in game.
