AMS2 - User Livery Overrides

    Are you sure you have all proper dds files in the folder that you are refering to in the xml? You have to manually add the files to the livery. I think they should be in the file template, otherwise just reuse them from my GT3 bundle

    Yes, it looks like all the necessary files are present. I don't know how to make the headlights completely yellow, so I'm attaching a link to the file. Maybe you can do it. Unfortunately, the developers didn't provide instructions to help me understand the principle.

    Your Google Drive Link only shows a body and banner texture. Are you sure you have all these yellow headlight textures in the correct path of your livery how they are linked in the xml?

    Yes, all the textures are there. It's just that for some reason they don't show up when viewed in Google Drive.

    Can you upload the xml and show a screenshot where your light texture files are placed?

    I've managed to get the headlights to glow completely yellow. So, I don't need any further help. Thanks for the help and the source code with textures!

    Here are two new previews for the next 2026 IMSA GT3 liveries I've done:

    2026 IMSA Express #75 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo (/w Maro Engel Driver)
    The real livery has a very shiny chrome blue body, sadly this can't really be replicated in AMS2 that good. So my livery is using the chrome base, but it always adds this whiteness to it, so it's way more subtle than the real one

    2026 IMSA AO Racing #77 Porsche 992 GT3 R "Rexy" (/w Nick Tandy Driver)
    Yes, Rexy is finally getting it's revamp from scratch. It matches the real livery as close as possible down to even every single tooth positioning

    Help! I give up, after spending most of the day trying to get a simple livery design to work. I have read all the stuff here and the youtubes . . . but, cannot figure out what I am doing wrong. First off, I am MAC based. Running the updated photoshop on Sequoia. The Mac photoshop does not save to .dds and none of the plug-ns work. SO, I create on the Mac and then use Gimp to export to a .dds file. I am wondering the Mac is the problem? I've include screen shots for ideas. Help an old guy out, please.

    Hm, xml looks fine. Check if the dds files have mipmaps enabled and are DXT5 when using the Alpha channel for transparency

    What exactly happens ingame? Does it not appear at all and you sitll the Reiza livery? Or are the textures broken?

    Can you upload your xml and textures as a zip or send me via pm? I would like the check if it works for me or recreating the dds in photoshop would work

    With GIMP I had to either merge all layers to one, or better create a layer group (+ button at the bottom of layer window) then pull all layers into it. Then select the group and try export to .dds.

    @Rob Thompson is it possible to get glowing number plates added to DPi and GT3 Gen 1?
