AMS2 - User Livery Overrides

Amazing as always, going to wait until version 1 is out...

 

Apparently, the Saleen S7-R does not support black wheels, I have painted the rims file and added the following lines:

<TEXTURE NAME="WHEELDIFF" PATH="...\saleen_s7r_26_rim_spec.dds" />
<TEXTURE NAME="WHEELBLURDIFF" PATH="...\saleen_s7r_26_rim_blur_spec.dds" />

I have the same problem with the Porsche Cayman GT4, the wheels are darker but not black. Am I doing something wrong? So far these are the only GT cars I had this problem.

"...\" represents the team folder

Maybe someone could bring me the light, please?

EDIT: Nevermind, just copied from a working skin (DBR9) and now it's working

Is there a way to make a wheel hub transparent?
I want to make spoked/wire wheels for the formula junior, but it just gets painted on top of the existing wheel.

Any help, clues, including "impossible, don't waste your time" much appreciated.

 

Sadly not, you cant change the model only the textures which get overlayed on top of a carbon texture (aka alpha = carbon)

Had a bit of motivation to work on another livery pack myself: The Philippe Charriol SuperSport Trophy 1996 aka the inaugural Lamborghini SuperTrofeo season. Reference Material is incredibly hard to come by but I think I've collected enough to recreate this series somewhat realisticly with the Diablo SV-R. A bit of a sneak peek here:

When using modded liveries for Formula HiTech Gen1, the sponsors on the rear wing are cut off on the current low downforce model (M2 and M4). It wasn't like that with the model of earlier builds.

 

I'm having an issue with the tires at speed blur out the lines that are needed define the shape? Assetto has blur norms and it's important I think...here is an example see when I spin this tire the lines remain?

 

Now we need "fuel/oil concern" liveries like Valvoline

Hi - Any ideas why the F1 2025 pack doesnt load the correct drivers names?

 

Is it possible to override a livery without setting the NAME for it, so leaving it as Reiza default, but without respecifying the Reiza default myself?

My reason is the Respray mod

It puts plain single colours on any car,
(the liveries are just single squares) to create road traffic for Nurburgring tourist, highway tracks and so on.

Because it can be applied to any car,
and they all have different default livery names, it disconnects from the Names mod (and therefore there are the associated bugs with cars not being chosen if you have a mix of roadcar and racing liveries.

Sorted had to remove the 2025 extension and rename to F-Ultimate_Gen2.xml
