you should use dxt1 dds w/o alpha channel . Maybe you exported as dxt3 or dxt5 and thats why its so big.
Windshield files need alpha channel (dxt3 or dxt5 ) and you also have to edit the alpha channel of this paint.

Thanks for the tip. I'll give it a shot and let you know how it goes.
Are you the WOLF who did the custom skins for the M1 Procars uploaded to RaceDepartment? If so, love your skins!

    Hello guys!
Does someone has the Fusca HC1/HC2 template to share? @Rob Thompson sent only the Classic one, that is not the same mesh, apparently..

    Tks!!

just a guess to the logic of your question.
If the man from Reiza doesn't have it, who else should ????

no, because Rob is the only one who cares for that here.
This is a small and structured company. Not a crowd of some modders :p

Are the Reiza number plate templates available for use for like GT5, GT4, GT3, GTE, P1, P2 etc? Would be cool to have those for use to keep the continuity with the liveries currently in the game.

Heya - this has been asked in this thread before though I couldn't find a reply (here or elsewhere), is this going to change in the future, i.e. are there any plans to allow for the addition of more cars than available per default?
Custom team/car identities can be an important factor in many communities, at the moment it's basically the one thing stopping us from giving AMS2 a go in league competition.

I would love to see every car have the maximum number of slots available and if it's just a limitation of the time needed to produce the livery's why not 'outsource' that work to the community, it could be done in the form of a competition or even less formally than that.

I'm sure you would get plenty of takers who'd jump at the chance to have their designs in-game.

afaik, some of the liveries numbers are restricted by the license holders, but i think on all generic cars it should be no problem to add the max number (32) or do add a simple mechanism to exceed the current max numbers.
It was possible in the cusom livery mod back in pCARS1.
If there was e.g max ID 66 and you added ID 70, then everyone who had the right pack got ID 70, those w/o the pack got ID 51 as error correction. There was never a problem to use this online.

On the other side a system like iRacing/trading paints could be the real future.
in iRacing liveries are bound to your iRacing customer id, so all you have to do, rename the local skin to your customer id and you'll automatically drive with this "unique" livery. Or upload your file to Tradingpaints and there'll be attached your id and will be distributed to every participant of a race.

As there is no customer ID in AMS2, they could use the unique steam ID to explicite identify the participant.

Is there any way to get the CART template prior to the release of the cars?

I have people sending me requests already for liveries!

    Not anymore!! Haha!

Nice job with the Custom AI Override in the 1.3 update, Reiza! Hoping that on the future we can build custom grid lists and expanding the amount of liveries per car.

Someone needs to do this for the 1997 McLaren MP4-12 testing liveries. The 1997 skin/drivers pack already has them as the MasterCard Lola drivers, with relative skill to match. :D
