AMS2 - User Livery Overrides

Hey everyone, really enjoying AMS2 so far after sticking to AC for the past couple years and thinking of moving over to it as my go-to sim.
Skinning is my favorite part of sim racing and it's great to see there's a great community putting out a lot of great liveries here.
However, I was wondering if Reiza has any plans to release "viewer" files for cars in order to expedite the skinning process, like they had for AMS1 in this thread. Any news on this?

Oh well, it looks like a bunch of the cars in 2 share models from 1, so I can live with that .

 

Really a nice painting, sad this wasn't used in F1.

 

Having some weird seam issues with this one... should be fixed soon enough.

 

Hi all, been a while since I've used this but looks like I might need to brush up for a league that's coming up. I've had a skim through the last few pages but just wanted to double check there's still no alpha or reflectiveness / roughness control for custom liveries at present?

Mitsubishi Lancer RS windscreen - downloaded the template but when I export to DDS file the windscreen does not appear in the showroom.
Any suggestions on how to get the windscreen working for the Lancer RS?

I´m currently working on a fictional "GT Series Brasil" .
Some skins are based on real cars of other series (Stock Car Pro / Imperio Endurance), others are fictional as a "how would a brasilian GT Series look like these days?" and some others are based on historic cars just added with brasilian or even Reiza style sponsorship

Just need some hotfixing on some skins and do all the preview files

Hopefully I can realise it this weekend on RD

 

Not certain that's the case with this car - all AMS 2 cars show the windscreen as painted in the template provided - both inside and outside. Can't seem to get that to work on the one I'm painting. Maybe I'm not exporting to DDS format properly.

I'm working on some skins for the Corvette C3 RC atm and while painting I stumbled upon this little error. The area I painted will be moved somewhere else when in game (only this place).

 

Looks like the hood scoops are turned the wrong way (180° rotation). Good find!

 

Hello, i am having an issue where my custom liveries have windshields that are too dark (Brasil Stock Cars 1999), while the default liveries have perfectly bright.
Is there like a universal windshield color to use, or something i am missing while editing that would make them the same as the default liveries ?
If i make the color brighter, then there are too many scratches and it is way too bright instead, can't find a middle ground.
The windshields on those cars are using the "bodyXYwindscreen" files.

As you can see on the attached image, it is either too dark, or when i try making it brighter it is a mess.

 

trying to organize a skinpack, i picked 26 regular drivers, if everyone does 3-4 we are done quick.

Just a note on the Sato folder, that looks like the Deloitte font. Not the regular one with the Nurtec branding.

 

if you know it, just tell him the right font
