    i don't think so. Too much effort for a simple workflow done in Photoshop, Gimp or paint.net.
    As long there is no internal livery editor, i think they'll not do it.
    Maybe the will, but if, then its on the very bottom of their long todo list.

    Is there a very detailed clear tutorial on how to create skins in AMS2? Something that explains exactly how to create them for someone who has never created a skin before? I would like to create skins, but have no idea where to start.

    No idea about a AMS2 specific guide, but as a start you can look at pretty much any "generic" livery painting guide and at Project Cars 1 and 2 guides in particular. I haven't looked into the painting for a long time, but if there are fresnel / specular textures available and accessible, PC1 should be a good start.

    But I bet there'll be more clarification of the veterans soon. ;-)

    PCars 1 forum section: The Paint Shop - Car Painting & Designs
    The How-To and Ryno's Painting tipps might be useful.

    Some ideas from back when I was painting (and I didn't know just from the beginning):
    - using paths is incredibily more useful when creating shapes/lines/anything on the car than just selecting an area and painting it.
    - when you're pasting logos into your design, I used to keep track of my changes to the original image (say I scaled it down to 75 percent and did 15 degrees rotation) and when I found out I had to adjust my edited image I'd rather take the original image, scale it down to let's say 67,5 percent and added 18 degrees of rotation than scaling down my first edited logo down to 90 percent and add 3 additional degrees of rotation
    - when looking for a logo, svg (or vector graphics in general) is the format to look for

    @Renato Simioni any news about releasing a viewer for us too? It would help us a lot to paint the skins quickly.

    What is the xml code for the wing graphics on the Mitsubishi Lancer RS? It doesn't say in the example xml file.
    I tried :-
    Code:
    <LIVERY_OVERRIDE LIVERY="61" NAME="Ralli-Art #1" BASELIVERY="Default">
            <PREVIEWIMAGE PATH="preview01.dds" />
            <TEXTURE NAME="BODY" PATH="body01.dds" />
            <TEXTURE NAME="WING" PATH="wing01.dds" />
    </LIVERY_OVERRIDE>
    But it doesn't work.

    @Rob Thompson
    Mitsubishi Lancer /RS originally consists of 3 files.
    Body, wing and glass.
    But we can only replace the body in the overrides.
    Thats why a replacement for the mitsubishi's look a bit unfinished when overriding a livery.
    Could you please add glass and wing in the rcf's too and release glass template for it and update the definition in mitsubishi_lancerrs_dist.xml :rolleyes:

    Yeah I know, but still not the best way to do it. A view is good cause give us freedom to change the cameras and align the lines perfectly. And if we have 3ds Max model we also can create awesome render scenes, like my avatar :)

    Is perfect, when you try 20 times you get...o_O (and the usefull view is the 21th, as usual)
    It would be better if it Reiza in the near future allow the movement with the mouse to change the view .. it would be easier than creating a viewer

    I'm sure the routines are there. It existet long time in pCARS2 beta, b4 some slightly mad art director decided to invent the wheel again and introduced this useless drone camera viewer.

    Those parts/areas need to be added to the model itself currently before skinning can take place. We will notify you guys when they get added.
