AMS2 - User Livery Overrides

Would there be interest in a Lotus 23 pack inspired by Nascar ? It is only 4 liveries total so that could be done relatively soon.

 

i think you are too much Nascar focused
Though the liveries look good from style view, imho that is totally misplaced for this car.

 

I don't think i am "too Nascar". It is my favorite thing to do, and it is what i can do best so i will stick to it. I tried my hand at V8 Supercars of popular drivers or significant moments, not sure if that worked out well or not. (the PIRTEK hood certainly did NOT).

Hell i put Nascar even on F1 cars and that is as far away from Nascar as you can get but i enjoyed trying it out.

 

But that's the thing though. You put NASCAR Liveries on everything. I think that's what @Wolfgang Herold was getting at. Your liveries are excellent but almost all are NASCAR centred. I do use your Super V8 special Liveries too. I just wish someone could do a whole field of the 2023 Super V8 Liveries. Keep up the great work.

 

I think you should focus more on skins for NASCAR mods...

Done the M&M but not tide yet, maybe eventually for the other models. And thanks!

I am a Nascar fan, i love Nascar, it will always be my number 1 favorite motorsport, therefore the liveries i will always be making first and foremost will be of that type. Why would it be a problem that i am centered at what i know i can do best ?

Curious, if you would want a 2023 V8 Supercars pack, why not try your hand at making it yourself ? That is how i started and made my first Nascar pack for AMS2 when i saw that literally nobody made NR liveries for the game and i wanted a pack for myself, so i went to learn how to do it and done it.

 

did you say mods? Can we expect 2 or 3 Nascar generations? or several models for one generation?

I agree with you, the Opalas (1979, 1986 and even 1999) look like Nascar cars. The problem I have is the number of liveries limited to only 20. 30 or 32 liveries would be perfect.

The KAOS modding team is apparently working on a Caper Monterrey stock car conversion for AMS2, so that's a good start.News
The question is what is legal? I think as long as you use it privately and don't make money with it, you should be able to use it.

 

I was disappointed when they didn’t carry this car over from PC1 to PC2. Having this car with early 90s Winston Cup(plus Days of Thunder) liveries would be perfect.

Edit: just seen the news of the Ferrari 641 also in the works!

 

The number of liveries for a mod created car is not that low...

You can even set it up so that there's skin for the different track types...

 

Going out of my Nascar comfort zone and doing something actually period-accurate .

 

Liveries are done but i have to wait for the "no driver" bug to get fixed.
