ams2ai.com is a free web app for creating custom AI drivers with car images

Hi everyone!

I created a free web app for Automobilista 2 that makes creating and managing custom AI drivers easier.

You can create your own drivers, assign them to cars, build custom grids, and use car images instead of trying to remember livery names.

The idea came from a simple problem: when you have many custom AI drivers, managing names and liveries becomes difficult. I wanted a more convenient way to organize everything.

The app includes a video tutorial on the website.
Just enable English subtitles if needed.

A quick overview:

Step 1.
Create an account to save your drivers and custom grids.
No email confirmation is required for registration.

Step 2.
Create at least one driver.
Driver parameters are divided into groups.
Groups can be collapsed for a cleaner and easier interface.
Don't forget to give your driver a name and save it.

Step 3.
Choose a racing series.
Select a car and assign your driver to it.
Save your changes.

Download the .7z archive prepared for Content Manager.
A link to Content Manager is available on the homepage.
If you don't want to use Content Manager, simply extract the .xml file from the archive and copy it to:

steamapps\common\Automobilista 2\UserData\CustomAIDrivers

Step 4. THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP!
In the game, select your racing series and set the EXACT number of opponents for the race.
If you choose more opponents than your custom grid contains, the AI driver grid will not load completely.
Please pay close attention to this.
There is a hint in the 7z archive name:
the exact number of drivers is shown in square brackets.

For example: le_man__gt1-[24].7z
means the grid contains exactly 24 custom AI drivers.

Step 5.
