but I can't understand. The old beta version worked fine, the new one changes the HD permission during the instalation process? There is no sence for me, I just update the software and no more AMS to play!
The last line of my trace file is: plrfile.cpp 2007: PLR switching game database!

Can you post the contents of 'sweetfx_preset.txt' in the game folder?

 

Hi guys,
I don't want to create a bug report yet, because I don't know if I do everything right, but Am I the only one who gets a CTD while loading any Kansai layout with the gMotor error "Error loading texture RMBLA for material RMBLA"? Every other track seems to work just fine, I only have the problem with Kansai. (I already verified the integrity of my local files).

 

Hi Alex, my SweetFX has only one line:

#include "SweetFX\Presets\HDR emulation.txt"

I removed the SweetFX and nothing happening!! So frustrating!

 

Just installed Automobilista on my gaming laptop. Never had it on here before so there were no profiles or anything else to delete. To my disbelief it also crashes on startup. Definitely something wrong with v1.0. Maybe it's a Windows 7 conflict with the game or something. Here's what I've been seeing for two days straight trying every possible fix:

 

I am having the exact same problem on Windows 7 64bit

 

I remember we had this before with one of the updates when using Windows 7 64bit and Reiza gave us a small fix a day later which sorted it out.
I'm sure it has to do with Windows 7 64

 

we think it's a permission thing somewhere. But where and which file is causing it we don't know. I could do with taking a look at someone's machine remotely if anyone would like to volunteer, but the OS needs to be in English.

Right clicking on the exe and enabling run as admin seems to fix it most of the time...

You did mine on remote the last time...no luck then if you remember.
If I run the game in Vista compatibility mode it starts up but shows no tracks. Did exactly the same thing last time and you sent a new .exe which sorted it.
Renato said it was a permission problem with Windows 7 64.
Hope that helps. I really need to get this going as I run a league.

It crashes the game the moment you enter a new profile name and click ok.
All my permissions are on of course.

 

I'm about now if you'd like me to take another look. We think this is a different issue.

Might be helpful to look at what code changes were made between the first beta which included the vintage and the following beta after which I was no longer able to run the game.

 

Hi, if people could install one mod track, and then right click on the exe, properties and under compatibility mode set Vista SP3. Then load the game, you should get to the menu, go to test day and only the one track will be there. If you load an original car the game will crash.
This is to just verify everyone has the same circumstances.
