Very true. I’ll have a fiddle later on!
(Then fire up the wheel, etc etc)

    Haven’t yet tried new update 3.2 .

but last night concluded when trying to apply some of @Peter Stefani tune to mine , that exaggerated front load was only compounding yaw feeling .
and for me i had more control with it not exaggerated when pushing hard.
I had my almost stock tune feeling good and suspect it will transfer to new update well.

    G27 here.
After the official update my custom ( NuScorpii) settings dont work.
The wheel turn itself 180 degrees and it's blocked.
Erased Automobilista2 folder in "my documents", but the custom setting, was very beautiful , do the same thing. Unplayable.
default settings dont allow to feel brakes, car weight, offtrack feelings.
There will be an update for the file?
    Thx in advance.

Brake with Front and Rear torque feel is very good (sensation) ...

I also prefer a fuller center and return alignment force like Peter did in his file ... but I noticed that by doing it, and filling it with a higher LFB (+/- 50) and / or by changing up the forces "center full" "rack friction" and with "exaggerate_front_load_feel", the file is no longer suitable for the whole car park but for 20-25% of very swaying cars some elastic effect returns ... for this reason in 3.1 I preferred to keep a center a little more empty (LFB +/- 36) using only the tighten and emphasizing the effects ... in this way I am suitable for all cars (obviously my personal opinion) ... I will try a different route on this 3.2 ...

I don't believe that NuScorpii is actively updating the Heavy Messing files, so there is a good chance that if it is broken for some reason given an update to AMS2, that it will stay that way until he dives back into AMS2. I think it's worth trying the latest Silver Raw/rFuktor file instead. I think you will be impressed by it. If not, feel free to mention NuScorpii here and perhaps he will update the file.

I've spent some time with the new RF3.2 file and I think it's a very nice, subtle improvement. The Torque effect and kerb softening are both great.

Something odd I noticed when testing using the GT3 Mclaren at Donnington, I'll try to explain, but I struggle to put words around this stuff...

When driving in a straight line, I occasionally get a kind of 'knock' effect in the centre of the wheel... I assume it must be coming from the road bumps, as it happens at the same places on every lap. It is noticeable because it doesn't fit with the other more rounded, rubbery, softer feeling effects that the wheel produces, it's a fairly harsh, single knock. (When I say single, it happens more than once per lap, maybe 4 times at Donnington, but on each occasion it is a single knock). The rest of the forces I experience have a nice, rubbery feel, but this one effect really jumps out, because, although it's not particularly strong, it is very much out of tune with all the other forces.

I tried RF 3.1 and it is present there too. Unfortunately, me noticing this issue obviously coincides with the recent game updates (it looks like some guys in the news thread have found a bug in the recent tyre revisions which Reiza have acknowledged), so I don't know if this is related to that.

If I remember correct, this might possibly be caused by the micro bumps. Can you adjust those to 0.0 and see if it goes away?

@Karsten: thank you! Thank you so much (again)
Your RF3.2 file is a blast with my TS Pc Racer. Better than Silverraw v52.
AMS2 is a jewel thank to you.

And for information I don't need to tweak anything (like LFB) with RF file. With "Silver Raw" files, I have to use the Mid End ones after each update, but with RF files, even if it's a high End file, no need to tweak anything for my personal taste

    Thank you.

Setting micro bumps to 0.0 did indeed remove the issue. So would I be right to assume I should now try to find a level where it is acceptable?
    Thanks.

Feels absolutely outstanding to me, this latest one. All I’ve done is lower the micro bumps slightly as suggested above (CSW 2.5) and it’s just fantastic.
I was doing some experimenting last night with either cranking up the FEI on the wheel base and lowering the in-game FX, or vice versa. I think FEI low, FX high generally feels better, with the opposite tending to bring in some strange sorta high-frequency buzzing forces, but in the end I (typically) settled on a middle ground, with FEI at 50 and FX at 40. Feels exceptionally good now, with just the one slight change in the file, as mentioned before.
Thanks very much again to all involved.

Prob. makes sense, yes, depending on how bad you feel it. I will try and fix it for the next version with no change to the volume of it, however.

I always half the micro bumps in file generally and often increase kerbs ever so slightly while using Fx at moderate values around 20 .

I’ve also been flip flopping on TM system settings, after some back to back experimenting, i’ve found that running default 75,100,100,100,100 feels good in most cases but having spring amplified exasperated the oversteer pendulum effects i’ve been struggling with on some of the big tail happy cars.

so after testing i’ve gone back to common settings of
    Gain. 75
    Constant 100
    periodic. 100
    Spring 0
Damper 0 ( once spring is off it just adds vagueness, but feels fine with spring on )

The 3.1 of Karsten & C. and tuned by me for my G920 is very pleasant (for me of course) but surely someone lacked a bit of center ... -in this 3.2 I wanted to try to improperly exploit the "tighten_range" so that it was not very invasive ... and then I acted on the center by modifying some other small item!!!

Also tried at a friend's house with the G29, he liked it, but obviously give me a feedback.

rFuktor 3.2 tuned for Logitech G920 and also G29/G27
In game setting, go to controller and set "Custom" preset whith this starting value 65-45-55-55*
*Then, in the car setting, use +/- % of Gain for car to taste, and for cars that are too swaying lower the LFB to 35.

After a little bit of subtle fettling , here is my current tune.

Small changes here and there to allow for aggressive driving and control of slides etc.

Some tightening in file but with room for lfb center feel adjustment while in game .

    Tm control panel 75/100/100/0/0
    in Game
    Gain 55-60
    LFB 5-10
    Fx 15-25
    Damp 50-55

    Edit, 21/3 further tweaking

Thanks for this upload. I have been using your last versions but since the new versions were released I had a weak center that meant I struggled to drive straight. I'll try this later on as I reckon like your last files will have got rid of the center dead zone. Top stuff Stakanov

    I have a g27
