Good call on the tighten range @Stakanov , I'll give that a go next time I'm on.
When I played on Saturday it felt great throughout the steering range, but on Sunday it felt a bit lacking on initial turn in, a bit numb and lifeless.

Yeah I still run the tightening as I feel it does the better job on straights etc and avoids using high LFB which can make things a bit springy.
I’m still tweaking and have been experimenting with some things from your tune like timings etc, But haven’t come to any conclusions yet, you know how it is, feels great one minute then next time it’s just not really what you remember.
I’ve also been running lower and different stretch feel values, with a slight bias towards the front tyres rather than equal between front and rear. As in normal situations you don’t get the rear tyres feels through wheel. So generally trying to make SOP feedback more subtle.
This is all just fine tuning and isn’t meaning there’s problems in file, and Default tune is still excellent.

If it helps, as a general rule, I suggest you download the "wheelcheck" application to precisely calculate the specific "tighten_falloff" of your wheel (ie your exact dead zone) ... ;)
If the result is for example 0.5% then the value to be inserted in the customized file is 0.005 ... if instead the falloff is for example 1.2% then you will have to indicate in the second item of the file 0.012 as indicated below ....
    "(tighten_falloff 0.012)"

Instead for the first item, ie the "tighten_range", you can play on the value according to your feelings and opt for a larger central force tightening (usually the range of forces is between 0.10 and 0.16 ) or implement a more limited and / or delicate squeeze (in the range between 0.05 and 0.10).

Once you have found your equilibrium you can move on to the other parameters ... which I change only later, because the sensations on many other items in the file change depending on the tighten used ;)

    latest tweaking session tune ;)
a bit different, and lighter ,but seems to be decent across different classes.

Still with these your basic settings in the game???
    Gain 55-60
    LFB 5-10
    Fx 15-25
    Damp 50-55 (now power steering)

I don't expect miracles from my G920 but I envy the possibility of using low LFBs without the risk, or better the certainty, of finding myself without a center. :(

Unfortunately for me, I will have to find the square in a range of forces around:
    GAIN 55-70 LFB 40-60 FX 50-60 DP 45-60
The tighten helps me to use LFB values towards 40, unfortunately it does not allow me to go down further as it would mean emptying the center equally ;)

Yes I’m still in the same zone of sliders.

but stick to your usual values as it should translate the same.
The key changes are altered tyre resistance and some lower relax values to have quicker reaction. Many other things can be up to personal preference.

@Karsten Hvidberg @Panos Schoino @Shadak , and all other SC2 wheelbase owners: What in-game value are you using for LFB with the rFuktor files? Just curious.

Also, for more intense kerbs, which value do I change within the 3.2 file?

I would say (kerbs_surface_scale 2.0) Increasing that setting should definitely make them more pronounced and sharp.

Hey Chip, i use LFB mostly in the area of 9-12. Damping 10-15, FX 32, gain 32-38

    Hey Stakanov,
When I do the wheelcheck of my G29 I get a value of 15%. Does that mean that I have to put the tighten_falloff value on 0.15? This seems quiet high vs your G920

    @Lars Mars,
tighten_falloff is around 1/10 of tighten_range (for g29 ~ 0.16) so in your case is more like 0.015

    Info from another forum,
DRR > Deadzone Removal Range (tighten_range),
DRF > Deadzone Removal Falloff (tighten_falloff)

15% of deadzone or 1,5%?? If possible, give me the screenshot of the Wheelcheck test ;) .... anyway, as he advised you TomP, they look like normal G29 values so start with these settings....
    "(tighten_range 0.16)"
    "(tighten_falloff 0.0160 or 0.0150)"

Alternatively, if it seems too intrusive you can turn it down a bit
    "(tighten_range 0.16)"
    "(tighten_falloff 0.0128)"
    Or
    "(tighten_range 0.12)"
    "(tighten_falloff 0.0128)"

Find your liking, your brain is the only organ that feeling you have to please in terms of sensations ... ;)

In Logitech Hub you have the default values ??? Sensitive value all to 50 ??

In the app Wheelcheck you select in the item "spring force" the test "min_force" ??

Obviously close all applications that may be using the wheel ... it should always give you the same result... ;)
