How can I increase the ffb load under breaking? It just adds a little extra immersion.

So if i understand you correctly you stacked up two bearings with a with of 5mm (603ZZ) and you dont use any washers?

Your ingame settings largely coincide with my long used and therefore I have tested your file and with slight adjustments at tighten range and tighten falloff everything works very well on my G27, thanks for that.

I think they where MR93 micro bearings, I used some spring washers as that’s what was handy at the time. haven’t had any problems.
the original plastic rollers are 10mm long, but have free play.
it just comes down to what you can source.

    rFuktor 4.6:

    - Velocity is felt building up better. Adjustable values "velocity_res_scale" & "velocity_res_offset".
    - Caster trail & pneumatic trail used from the physics engine. This makes more variation between cars and also more sensation variation for each car.
    - Adjusted grip loss feel to come in later, more precise.
    - LFB changed: Now adjusts center_full up to 10% slider position and then the real LFB from there on top. Also it no longer indirectly adjusts gain & damping(power-steering). This makes for more adjustability. Important to remember to adjust damping slider(power steering) more now.
    - Decreased bump exaggeration for more natural feeling.

As always this high end file is selected, adjusted and finally ok'd by @Panos Schoino and @Shadak, thanks guys!

I have used lfb 10, damping 10, fx 30 and gain 35 in most cars. Only gain might need to slightly be adjusted per car. 100% strenght on SC2pro and 0 filtering.

That is a hard one not having the base myself, but I would assume gain around 70 & LFB 5-20. Fx prob. 30-45 and power-steering(damping) 10-20 or so.

Hopefully a file tune for CSL/CSW will pop up soon :)

For this latest one, for testing, I actually ran LFB at 0 mostly and instead adjusted the gain up/down depending on the car.
I'm not saying LFB at 0 is the best, and also possibly having it at 5-10 would make the gain adjustments less required between cars. I am not sure.

    Btw, for new DD users:
I will def. adjust the LFB per car if it feels better as there is nothing "incorrect" about using LFB higher than 0 on a DD wheel base. It is just a matter of combining the sliders to make it feel as we like it.

    You can increase this value:

    (brake_feel 0.85)

    @Karsten Hvidberg & Co.

    No comment .... no tuning!!!!

Test on ALL cars type Formula (Ultimate, Reiza, Modern, Classic, Retro) ... only 3 or 4 different value tuning not important .... for now i report only your note with my personal emotion below:

    - Velocity is felt building up better. Adjustable values "velocity_res_scale" & "velocity_res_offset".
    True and Nice!!

    - Caster trail & pneumatic trail used from the physics engine. This makes more variation between cars and also more sensation variation for each car.
Never felt the tires so good without tuning!!! ;)

    - Adjusted grip loss feel to come in later, more precise.
    OK!!

    - LFB changed: Now adjusts center_full up to 10% slider position and then the real LFB from there on top. Also it no longer indirectly adjusts gain & damping(power-steering). This makes for more adjustability.
Much better, it is easier to find the balance between the 4 sliders and identify what to change!!
LFB slide very nice and good center without high value ... :)

Important to remember to adjust damping slider(power steering) more now.
But even no more now!!! :p

    - Decreased bump exaggeration for more natural feeling.
    OK

Conclusion: I got tired of writing over and over that maybe it is the best file ever ... so now I'm going to test all the GT cars and the others with covered wheels, if the judgment doesn't change I can only rewrite it ... I'll go!!!

    @Karsten Hvidberg
I haven’t had much of a chance to dial in latest 4.6 .
it feels quite different in some ways so takes a wide range of different car and tracks to get a feel for what is best slider values as it’s probably a little more complicated than what i have been using.
one thing i did do was adjust the multiple normal load smoothing values in file to match 4.4 tune , which was generally one click up .
I did this to get a better read of things as out of the box it had quite a hardcore feeling over bumps, like the tires where very stiff.
I then noticed that tire deform effects have been taken away . so maybe that’s part of it.

I need to play with velocity a bit i think as it’s a little light in normal or low load weight .

for some reason i found it very sensitive to turn in , maybe i need to lower my wheel sensitivity a bit as run a little higher than stock normally.
