Yes, I find that on my base I need to use Fanatec damper in addition to the built-in damper in the custom file to avoid oscillations. In fact, the more in-game damper I use, the more oscillations I get...

Guys .... good morning. I need help.
Thank you for all the custom file sharing.
Honestly, I've always tried them all, even Karsten's latest.
But every time I go back to the kuku file "DELTA - S 4.6 ALEGUNNER BELT VERSION"
in this file I find a very vivid effect of the car. I really like the feeling of the curbs and hollows of the track. But the really nice thing is the force at the center of the steering. I have only one problem, the strong wobbling of the steering wheel when the car is stationary. I must necessarily keep their hands on the steering wheel even for pits with a stationary car. But above all I'm afraid of getting hurt. I tried to turn down the gain and FX effects .... but they always keep going. I ask KUku what value in the customized file I have to modify so that the vibrations when stationary are zeroed or at most decrease. thanks again very much

    Hi easy
You could try lower engine feel scale. to see if it’s just the engine idle .

@easy81 You could also try lowering the LFB, or try adjusting the line below until the back and forth wobbling is reduced.
    (centering 0.57)

@easy81 if the above suggestions haven't helped try adding some damper on your wheel, or raise (center_relax
I wish we could work on these files without having to exit the sim each time, progress would be so much faster.
Another thing to try is re-calibrate your wheel.

    hi guys,
yesterday a gave a try with rfuktor's custom ffb file but the first impression was like if it was lifeless. on the other hand reiza's ffb is too alive :) the cars feel very bouncy..
what other options are there in terms of custom ffb files ?

    thanks

Did you try setting the -ffb 600 launch option?

See here for full example: Automobilista 2 Custom Force Feedback - Overview & Recommendations

Yep, exactly. I run my CSL DD on 8Nm with 6 different sims and, except for rFactor2, only in Peak Mode, but between 65 - 75% FFB INGAME ( always 100% at the driver in Fanalab ). If one doesn't believe, use the ingame FFB-meters to check for clipping. In ACC you can see it at the grey bar on the HUD instrument. If you manage to run turns 3 + 4 in Barcelona or T16/17 in Spa at full throttle @ 100% in driver and Ingame, then your FFB meter is almost "white" thanks to the amount of clipping ;-)...IF one wants to change thinks in Peakmode, I would suggest to carefully adjust FOR or DPR in driver settings. In case one uses Fanalab ( link is in the driver software ) , he could try peak but with "Dynamic FFB" enabled. I use this in rFaktor 2 ( at 75-85% ingame, Smoothing 2).
For AMS2, I use basically the recommended settings from the Fanatec Forum with slight tweaks , 75% gain in the game and ingame settings all 4 other parameters between 0 and 20 max. Anything of FX over 10 let the CSL DD and the wheel begin to vibrate too much. This vibration stays even when you close the sim ! You need to restart the CLS DD to get rid of it.

Might as well re-calibrate your wheel range and pedals while you're at it.

I use the recommendet Fanalab Settings too on the same wheel with 8nm Boost Kit. There are no vibration issues at 65% FX. I used the wheel in CSW 2.5 Mode and PC mode (Peak and linear) with 4.6 and 5.03 FFB files.
Hope i can help you to find the vibration Problem

ffb frequency. in this case 600 Hertz which is the game's default (but something might be borked)

Here's another tune, I think it's far better than my last v2 one as there's less on /off forces in slow medium corners, it's a lot more balanced(for my wheel). That's it now for me, I'm just going to enjoy the racing.
