dt 0.00444 and my belt-driven wheel became lifeless, even with Gain 100
dt 0.00333 mild too but acceptable
So I've concluded o_O dt is a divider to reduce vibrations, the higher its value, less vibration.
dt 0.000333 and it heavily oscilates everywhere
dt 0.001 is the best compromise to my TM TX with Gain 100

Tested with 5.01 Danielkart and tUMi versions

Do you think this file would suit a 20nm Simplicity direct drive wheel base ?

Thanks for sharing your files! I’m exited to try them with my SC2 Pro. Quick question: What are your settings in True Drive?

My settings in True Drive can be seen in screenshots below:

Alternatively you can look for my online profile from True Drive Paddock which is propably the easiest way to access my True Drive settings (named "AMS2 Silver Raw rFuktor 5.0.1 Kuku tune SC2 Sport" in True Drive Paddock).

    With a TS-XW and rFuktor 4.6 I used:

    Gain 75
    LFB 40
    FX 45
    Damping 45
    Menu Spring (Power Steering) 40

That was with 75/100/100/100/100 in TM Control Panel and without boost. Also made the adjustments to kerb_bump_scale and scrub scale mentioned for CSW 2.5

So I would try more LFB, more FX, keep LFB & FX within 5 or 10 of each other and less Damping.

    Hello Karsten
    Information for everyone
I think the dt value is extremely different, also with the dd wheels. So i find 0.000...to 0.0033333... more helpful

ok , so here's is the first attempt at the best all-rounder or X-over 5.0.1 tune.
with great influence and inspiration from fellow 5.0.1 fans @tUMi and @Danielkart .

I think it finds good middle ground and should suit most out of the box, but there's some things that can be altered easily in file if need be , including different (dt )

    Lets see how it goes.

    Hey Kuku
Good idea with allrounder file. Since different bases should be good. But i think we should be more specific for dd basen. My file is exactly matched to the dd1. Maybe you can also create a specific file for your alpha. And tUMi for his Simucube. I find otherwise it becomes very confusing. It should be as easy as possible for people, but too many files creates chaos.
    beautiful day Daniel

My goal was to have a very good ffb for all cars and engines. The only thing I change is gain in the base (60-70% according to personal taste) , that's it

yeah I’m the same I hardly ever feel the need to increase or decrease per car gain or anything.

Just a quick question. What do you usually feel first, Scrub or tear?

i might be wrong, but for me i think the scrub is before the tear , the tear is when the tires are screaming for mercy in my opinion

    The original files always have:

    tear = small slides
    scrub = larger slides

So in the files we made the tear effect feel like we think it should feel with beginning/little slides, and scrub feel like we think it should feel when it's sliding more.

They are 2 differently calculated effects and there's nothing wrong in having them in opposite order, as I can see some people like them and with modifications to their frequencies etc.

I have the same values for the karts. Because it is the best feeling for dd1

    Hei Kuku
With which value for dt.... is the Alpha a best? Should be the all-round file for all belt wheels? Great idea with the all-round file

Hello guys, quick question: (and probably easy answer for the experts)
I really like the feel of the default+ profile on my Thrustmaster TMX, but there's a "notchy" feel in the center. Like the wheel snaps to a slot when centering the car. This doesn't happen in other sims and the only way to mitigate it it's to lower gain and LFB with the sliders, but then the wheel becomes very light.

Is there a setting within the custom files that affects only this center feel?

Guys, thanks for continuing on this ffb road :)

I added a few slight improvements to the script, copied some values from @Kuku Maddog and @tUMi files and tuned some values for my liking.
The new script parts allow for some more tuning too.

    So here is rFuktor 5.0.1.1:

    * Damping slider is for damping.
    * Improved feel of changing suspension pressure.
    * Added building up lateral feel.
    * Tear feel slightly tuned.
    * Tyre rubber feel slightly tuned.

direct link: Deleted, the file was not tuned well at all.

Go to test.... in the meantime maybe I noticed something ... in these lines the highlighted in bold is correct ??

    (force_scale (* 1.2 1.7 (/ 0.23 centering)))
    1.2 or 1.7

    (sp1 (min 1 (max 0 (* 2 (- sp1 1)))))
    (sp2 (min 1 (max 0 (* 2 (- sp1 1)))))
maybe in the second line sp2

    (FL_load_norm (max 0 (* FL_load_norm_s (min 3 (/ (smooth FL_load_norm sp2) (max 0.01 (smooth FL_load_norm 1.0)))))))
    (FR_load_norm (max 0 (* FR_load_norm_s (min 3 (/ (smooth FR_load_norm sp2) (max 0.01 (smooth FR_load_norm 1.0)))))))
maybe in the first line sp1
