Hi Folks, has anyone got an opinion on which V50 file would be most suited to the Thrustmaster T818 DD?

I would recommend the first file at 10Nm. The 2nd file is very strong at 10Nm. But just try it and take what you like best

Same here with CSL DD 8nm. The First File is to strong for me. I go better with the second one, that is nice

In The old Files i changed the line
(slip_crossover_line2_start_y 0.9) to 0.9 für a grip loss feeling on the Front Axle like in Assetto Corsa (enhanced understeer Effect). The steering goes Light by the end of grip.
In the new V50 it do not work? Have anyone a Solution? o_O

    Thanks

you actually need to adjust all of the slip_crossover lines as they all work “together” to create the weightless feel.

Yeah 2nd file is amazing on 40 Gain in-game
Performance in TM settings and 100% master gain and 0% damper

Cheersd for that, I eventually settled on file 1 "for dd bases 10-30Nm" TM control at 100% Performance, 5% damping, in game 60% gain, low force 5%, fx 25%, 0 damping :)
    (for now anyaway lol)

You find the Recomandations direct in the FFB File for your Wheel.
I personally use Ingame FX 35, FFB 85%
Wheel Linea, no dampers etc. all to Zero

Normally inside the custom file, using a text editor.

PS: Sorry to interfere with your conversation with JDean

That's true, but just what my personal taste is. I don't like it when the loss of grip is too big because it takes control of the car. And because it's a simulation with no feedback (G-forces in reality) I feel better with less loss of grip. But now there is another thing. The loss of grip is also in my files, but less severe. Each car in Ams2 has its own physics and there are very big differences. An example: Take the default ffb because this simulates the loss of grip much more. Now they take the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup and compare the grip loss with the Porsche 911 RSR GTE. The GTE will simulate the loss of grip much better than the Cup. Another example: Mini Cooper JCW felt very little or almost no loss of grip in the steering axle. You see there is also a huge difference between the cars and what people are testing. It's always a compromise and of course personal taste. And don't forget the car setup options. I have little experience there, but a Steelreserv can certainly get the best out of the cars
