I don't know where Karsten is. He will have his reasons for retiring. I'm thankful for its physics and the opportunity to write my own custom. It makes Ams2 a completely different simulation for me

Hey buddy! Sorry if I asked. English is not my native language and sometimes it is translated strangely. Now I understand you and thank you for your hint. You mean the back pressure when braking in corners and of course you're right. This counter-pressure can be created with brake_feel, I will repost all files on occasion because I have to adjust the forces slightly. Thank you Alex that was a perfect hint

I use your v46, is this an update to that or should this be v47? Thanks

Hi! Alex gave me a very good tip. Somewhere from V30 .... I took out this counter-pressure to feel other feedback better. It's actually just for Alex to show him that effect. But when I have time I will repost all 3 files as V47. This change creates new powers which I will then slightly correct. Of course you can also take these

What do the different FFB sliders change with V46?

Do you mean in-game values in the game? The difference to defaults?

I mean the ones which go from 1 or 0 to 100 and are called for example low force boost and FX

Gain/LFB/FX/Damping changes a lot in a Custom file. And with the standards too, but standard and custom are again completely different and cannot be compared. If you change these values (in-game) you should notice the difference

That's the first thing I tried but it has no effect on my wheel for some reason.
I'm happy enough with my file though (just fine tuning it with things I like from yours!).
EDIT: It does work, I just had to turn it up to about 8.
    Apologies.

hey ! There is of course a big difference Alex. I drive with about 12-13Nm peaks, I think until you would notice something in my file you would have to increase the value to about 4-5. With 5 it is already very strong for me with 1.6 it is noticeable but not extreme

    Sorry, just saw your post.
Yes I had to turn it up to about 8! Works fine now.
Your file is very similar to mine now, although with yours I need about 75 gain which is strange as it's optimised for dd.

As you may know, I also changed or moved or added or deleted the codes. I went a different way, but hey it's a user file after all. If I get this opportunity why shouldn't I use it. I also always work with the powers because a lot depends on the power of a base. Your customs are also very steer axle and tire based. That's why it fits together very well for us:)

I've spent a few hours with your latest file and ended up with this.
I changed the dt value as well as other things including tyre resistance values.
feels really nice on my csw, it's a keeper for me.
Hope you don't mind me putting it here.

Hi buddy! No problem my files are for everyone, there are no secrets. Yes, I have seen that you have adjusted a few values to your base. Flat spot do you consciously set to 0.01?

You hidden the dt value? As far as I know, this value should remain. I activated it a long time ago, has there been a change? Will test it tomorrow and let you know Alex

Thanks to all involved for this , really appreciate the effort and knowledge that goes into these files .
I use a Simplicity 20 nm direct drive wheel base and am still searching for the perfect feeling . For me Daniel's last few files would be perfect apart from lacking any feeling of grip loss when the tires break traction . At the moment the weight of the wheel doesn't decrease under lock up during braking or understeer through a corner or even on grass when you would expect less friction between the tyres and the surface. Could this be simulated ?

It's also a matter of taste, I don't like it too easy because it takes control of the car away from me. But yes, you can increase (slide_factor 0.5) and adjust it to your liking

Not hidden, changed to 300 from 333. I might increase flatspots a bit more as it punishes me for poor brake control. :)

I can feel it, have you got too much damping applied maybe?
