(scrub_frq_scale) adjusts the frequency of the tire scrub vibe, lower value will be more gritty/rough
(scrub_scale) adjusts the strength, higher value will come through more

    not sure what tear_frq_scale does

I think they are the parameters for the effect you're describing, atleast to my limited knowledge, but there may be more to play with. do you want more strength out of tire scrub feeling? or a lower/higher frequency?

    Hi

try increasing tyre stretch feel values evenly .
    front_tyre_stretch_feel 0.06)
    (rear_tyre_stretch_feel 0.033)

the oscillation is very strange , specially with another Simagic,

you may need to lower center_full values , due to the extra strength of the Alpha , or maybe even lower total force in software .

evenly like this? meaning if you double the value of the front then double the value of the rear?
    front_tyre_stretch_feel 0.12)
    (rear_tyre_stretch_feel 0.066)

yes that keeps the current ratio of balance. But it’s worth remembering it used to be the other way around , with the rear higher , but I felt it was exaggerated rear since update .

Hello, this has probably been asked a thousand times but, how would you guys create and enhanced feel of understeer? basically I want the FFB to drop when understeer kicks in.

    Can someone explain how?

    Hi, thanks for your work.
Can you point out at the top of the text file that it's only valid for CSW2.5?

What are the parameters in playing CSW2.5 with your custom FFB?

Does anyone have a Moza R9 Automobilista 2 custom FFB set up for both Pre and Post July update.

I can't seem to get the FFB to feel correct with the July update.

    Hmm...
Tried this file yesterday on my DD1, and the wheel starts oscillating if I let go...
    911 GT3 / Oulton Park
Your Fanalab settings, only change is that I adjusted FF to 75.
Not I big deal, I can just keep my hands on the wheel, but one of your earlier versions (I think maybe your first one based on Danielkart´s file) was rock solid...

Weird... For me this one is still rock solid and it's completely impossible for me to get the wheel to oscillate as demonstrated in the video where I even gave the wheel a hard Hit and it still stayed stable without oscillating...
So something in our bases works different then...

    Very weird.
Do you remember which car you were using when recording the video?
I´ll try the same car and see if that makes a difference...

Was a Porsche GT3 Cup (992) - a Mod car. But it's so stable with every car in the game, I cant get the wheel to oscillate, not even with F1 Cars...

@Kuku Maddog I'm starting to really like your film with @dMASS revision, but I still feel a dead spot in the middle of it. For me, it looks like the steering wheel would be set dead zone in the center. So we have to use in game low force boost to make it is not so completely dead at center. And it is even worse when you use the low rear wing setting. Is it possible to somehow get rid of it and make the center more informative? maybe this is caused by tire stretch?

I don’t feel a dead spot , there’s still information coming through like bumps and texture , it’s natural to have some relaxation around middle when turning . Feels life like to me in that regard.
Using LFB is exactly what it’s for . Using damper can help give weight to wheel too .
If we make it too tight you will get weight shifts out of time which interfere with counter steer.

you might like to try disabling some relaxation by putting a # at beginning of all the associated relax_us and relax_yaw lines .

and if that’s not helping you might prefer to add some small values yaw_scale_fast.

But at Monza i cant run in one line on long turn after first chicane. Wheel is to soft, need more stiffer at turn, cant do clear stable long turn.
