I think this is a per car value. But I'm not sure which cars are affected...

Been using your latest file, I tried it with a good variety of cars and it feels really good, it as definitely evolved very well over the last few versions.

None will make AMS2 feel the same as Rfactor2. I can only suggest trying a few different ones, and see what you like. To be honest the default profile (not the default+) gives you all the information need.

Just wanted to thank you for your work and ask a question. I've been using your FFB since I started playing the sim about 6 months or so ago. It's very good. However, there is one aspect I'd like to tweak but don't know where to start. For my preferences, the forces felt when the suspension is unloaded like travelling down a straight, is just a bit too much IMO. What variables should I be looking at in your file to try and tone this feeling down a bit?

Thanks. I'm happy it serves others.

    Thanks!
I been using a development version (v13) since the day after I publish v12. The main differences are an overall ligther feeling (straights and turns with lower load in front suspension) but the same forces on high stress situations :) and accommodates three major contributions in on single dynamic curve for arm forces. It's simpler and gives a more direct perception of front axel. I think that's what your are looking for ;).
I'll probably publish it until next weekend.

The red dashed line is my reference (v12), the normal red line is the new implemented curve.

    No extra load (straights):

Max load (ex. breaking at Indianapolis Esses, Le Mans):

In game, it's the same for all wheelbases - just adjust vehicle-specific FFB gain.
I don't have Fanatec so I don't know what is considered to be neutral in driver/firmware settings.

IIRC put everything which is natural to 0, steering can be put to auto and put the FFB as the other option to peak since otherwise it feels like it gets stronger suddenly over a certain speed

I use Kuku Maddog’s file which can be found on RaceDepartment, but I used to use Danielkart’s file until he stopped uploading new ones

The default Fanatec CSL DD 8nm Settings are saved in Auto Profile in the Fanatec Control Panel. Scroll through the profiles e.g. 1-5 and it's the one called 'A'.

I also used Danielkarts Files, and I loved them.
Because of @Danielkart selfish retirement (you know I'm kidding, mate ;-) ) I had to checkout other options, to maybe improve my FFB.

Since a few weeks I use Alegunner68 Hybrid File V3, which was a litte gamechanger for me, related to feeling of connection to the street surface.
Both are solid good files, but on the Hybrid File V3 I had to go down with my base gain from 10 NM to 9 NM on my DD2, because of it's massive behavior. But it's worth in my opinion.

I could inmagine, a mix from both files, the Hybrid V3 road connection and the smoother behavior of Daniel Files in critical situations, would have an immense potential. But I'm afraid, that these files have a completely different approach and therefore this idea cannot be implemented.

Did you already tested Algunner68's Hybrid V3?

IIRC I haven’t, but I chose Kuku’s since I can contact him and it feels really good. I might need to have a look though at the file you use

If you want, I can ask some CSL DD mates to send me their sttings. They seem a little bit different to the Pudium settings
