    Here's my Hybrid V3.1.
I wasn't happy with the slow speed corner strength, so spent far longer than I wanted to trying to balance it all out. The upside to this that is the force while braking is back, and I've further balanced the scrub and tear, which feels great to me but it's still not perfect.

I'll be honest I lost a lot of hours progress one day due to a corrupt file and got sick of it so stopped for a couple of weeks for fear of losing interest in the sim completely.

Really enjoyed finalising (ish) the file today though so I'm happy again.
I know most people have already found their favourite file from the amazing people on this thread but here's one more.
    Gain 65
    Lfb 0
    Fx 25 ish

EDIT: If you find the cars lose grip too soon, change line 285- slide_factor 0.7 to 0.6.

Oh wow, that's another good option for me. I like it so far, will spend some more time with it over the weekend :)

    Thank you!

    Hi guys!
Maybe you noticed that I deleted the V700 again. There was a mistake that I didn't notice because I was concentrating too much on the curbs. Gabriel "Pai" Legnini brought this to my attention, thank you very much Gabriel. I will post the corrected file to you today

Been using your v700 since a couple of days with my fanatec CSW v2 and I must say it´s one of the best (custom) FFB i´ve used in simracing.
    My in-game are
    Gain 65
    Lfb 2
    Fx 35
Damping 0 (not sure about this, been switching from 30-40 also but in the end turned it off because i felt like it didn´t make a big change)
    Thanks a lot Daniel

Using dampening in the game is not recommended.Neither in the customs nor in the defaults. It causes oscillations and unwanted vibrations. If necessary, use the damping from the base;)

Asetek Invicta claims to be 27Nm, not 20.

This has been superb, lovely feeling using a middle of the road R16 base. With the driving feel provided through the wheel I've been able to turn the FX down to 0 and have it blend beautifully with my haptics for additional sensations.

This is exactly the reason why I recommend a (FX) value that should be adjusted according to personal taste. Without additional hardware, I recommend using (FX). With additional hardware (Buttkicker, Tactiler Matte, Motion, VR...) the feeling changes significantly. But there are differences here too, there are people who don't need (FX) because they get enough feedback from other hardware. But other people need even more (FX) with Immeraion's hardware because it masks the feeling on the wheel. You see, it is very individual and very dependent on many factors

This is really weird. Since in-game damping adds some proper 'feel of weight of the car' to FFB. Wheel driver's 'damping' doesn't provide same effect.
And it works this way with custom/default/default+.
I can understand that competitive racing don't need this much. Still AMS2 isn't about competitive racing with it's current state of physics and 'driving meta'.

Daniels V700 Personal is nearrly perfect for my tastes. Only change I'd like to make is, it seems to go a little too light in the neutral steering position (probably mostly at slower speeds but forgot to pay attention at high speed) vs. his V500 versions. Ideas as to what I can modify for that?
    Thanks for the input

I don't know your base and your wheel. But you can increase the friction on your base a little to sharpen the center or use "Inertia" on your base (if you have one) to simulate a heavier wheel (If you are using a light small wheel)

For me, the disadvantages of using in-game dampening outweigh the disadvantages. In addition, the weight of the car can be felt in the custom file. But of course you can use in-game if you like it better, everything is allowed
