    Simply look in the text file, Thiago. All the recommended setting by base are commented in the file.

    I used you values from the file for VRS.

    However,
    Damping, Friction, Inertia can be set in the VRS tool for:
    1. Device only
    2. Game only
    3. Both
    Which did you pick?

    I didn't take the VRS Wheel Tool into account. I think you have to test it yourself whether (damping/inertia/friction) works better in the device or both or game. I myself am more in favor of just the device. But as I said, just test this option and choose what you like better

    If it's any use to you I have the simplicity SW20 , same midge motor as you I believe apart from different torque rating .
    I find with Daniels files very little damping is required. With the default profile I need 50 damping in game , if I use damping at the wheel base it gets a gravely type feeling.

    Hello good

    A question from a newbie:
    I don't know if I have the FFBB configured correctly

    Is it normal for the steering wheel to go hard when cornering?

    I'm playing at Interlagos (although this is applicable to any circuit), and when I take any corner, it's hard
    Of course, in the chicanes, the same

    Although there I have to hold the steering wheel well when leaving, as it usually makes some sudden movements to the sides

    I have tried Automobilsita 1 and it runs smoother

    At this rate, my arms are going to feel like a bodybuilder.:D

    Hi . Firstly I've never driven a race car in real life but this is how I see it , if you are driving a formula car with modern aero then yes I would expect the steering to load up considerably during a high speed corner . Not so much in a mid speed corner and heavy again In a low speed hairpin turn . Some like the gen 1 and gen 2 would have power steering in real life so maybe they wouldn't be as heavy as say a 80s F1 type car .
    I would suggest taking one of these cars around a high speed circuit while keeping an eye on the histogram and check that you aren't clipping during these prolonged high speed corners .
    Ultimately adjusted the ffb gain in game to suit you , if it's not fun having your arms pulled out then reduce it by a few clicks at a time until you are comfortable.
    For reference I have a 20nm wheel base and have only cranked it up above 15nms once, nearly broke my wrist ! Since then I have it set at 60 percent at the base and around 70 -80 percent in game .

    Yes sure why not. Just test it and decide for yourself. There are many customs that you can test. In the end, it's your taste that counts. Unfortunately Trueforce is not yet available in Ams2 but you can also use the base without this feature

    As I saw you are using V400 File 3. You have 3 options to solve your problem.

    1. If you want to stick with the V400 then I recommend you take the V400 File 5 or even V400 File 6.These higher versions will generate less power for you.The different bases process and output the signals very differently.That's why these different versions were written to simulate as many forces as possible, so test different versions to find your sweet spot for your base.The higher the version, the lower the powers will be.

    2. Switch to a V700/V800/V900 here you can adjust your base with the IN-Game settings (Gain and FX should be enough for your Thrustmaster)

    3. Also test other customs from other people or the defaults from Reiza, maybe it suits you better

    As Aza340 already said, the forces are generally too high anyway.9-11Nm is completely sufficient and is also the rule in reality.There is also the risk of getting injured.With rf2 and LMU I didn't have any nice moments with FFB anomalies from the game that were completely unexpected.Here you can easily break your fingers and wrist with such forces (20-25Nm).Luckily Ams2 works differently than most other simulations and you don't have to start with 100% gain from the base (only for strong bases of course) and then turn it down in the game.In my opinion a big advantage.I don't need these high forces myself, the only exception is in karting simulations, which is the only reason I have bases with such high Nm.

    First assure you installed the more recent driver from Thrustmaster
    Then configure CP like this

    Load any custom of your choice, I can assure you there are many customs that functions very well with TM belt driven wheels.
    Very important read/follow instructions inside ffb_custom_settings to the ingame settings as each custom appears to have its own philosophy.

    I realize a lot of these files have pretty good descriptive comments, but...... Is there a FAQ or wiki with a list of the common variables and what adjusting them does to feeling at the wheel?

    Man, I absolutely love this. My only issue with DKs ones (CSL DD 8Nm) was too harsh vibration from the road unless I went down with FEI insanely low. For some magic reason your build is not doing this. So again, thanks to all tuners involved in.

    In the end I downloaded the @Danielkart V900 version, I have set the values indicated from newtonpg the steering wheel control panel, and I have put the values indicated by Alegunner68, in the game, and it's going very well.

    Quite new to AMS2 and wanted to explore the custom FFB files. I'm currently using V12 of your custom FFB file, but there are 2 thing I'd like to explore ... when driving over curbs, I find the car wants to quickly "fall-off" the curb and when I counter this force I inevitable start osscillating the steering wheel and the result is not elegant. What variable can I adjust to lighten the car veering off the curb? Second, at high speeds, I find I can steer with as little as 2-3 degrees and the car is too responsive .. again this leads to steering ossillations as I'm trying to counter the effect to drive a straight line. What can I change to dampen the steering sensitivity at high speeds? I'm on a Logitech G-Pro Direct Drive Wheel.

    Is there any way to separate the Lateral Scrub and Tear effects, from the Longitudinal Scrub and Tear effects in the FFB files?

    Can you describe in more detail what you want to achieve with longitudinal forces and lateral forces? In which driving situations do you want to disconnect? Due to the G-forces, there are limits to a simulation. In some cases it can be simulated with motion, but here too there are no real G forces
