Reduce this value (kerb_bump_scale 6.00) to around 4.00
This should help with very high curbs

    Hi to all ,

Can you suggest any changes I can make so that my Sf1000 with T818 does not swing too much in a straight line? It happens to me even when the car is stationary .This is my file txt

Nothing, I spent some time on V6000 Extreme 3 but unfortunately even this time I didn't get the sensations I was hoping for even though I had the same steering wheel and used the recommended settings, the pleasant feeling is that of the absence of oscillations and the sense of rubber, but the remaining sensations are always of grip, I don't feel any slipping and the yaw, lateral and longitudinal movement is practically absent, furthermore, as I wrote the other times, I feel something strange in the rotation of the steering wheel that I don't feel in all the other files.
I apologize for the feedback and I hope it's not me who's doing something wrong, but Mr. @Danielkart are we sure that there isn't something different or incorrect in your files compared to the others?Ratio scale, degrees of rotation, slipping...

To each his own, take files that you like better, there are plenty of other modders or the defaults from Reiza;)

I use them of course but I was hoping to understand if the limit was mine or not, thanks anyway.

In a simulation, no one can tell you whether something is right or not. Too many views and tastes influence everything. If it seems right to me, it might suck to someone else. What I meant to say is that there are many options in Ams2 to suit almost any taste. My files aren't perfect like others aren't or Reiza's defaults. It's always up to the user what they want:)

I fully agree with this and it is the most divisive topic there is and no one is wrong or right, but I am not just referring to my preferences or sensations that are as you say strictly personal (like the Yaw at 0, the Slide almost at 0, Lateral and longitudinal movements at 0), I am referring to the remote possibility that there is something wrong because in reality I feel a rotation of the steering wheel that has an intensity almost different from what I see on the video, as if during the rotation they did not correspond, but then both return to the center together. However I do not want to be heavy, I will recheck everything on the basis of both the steering wheel side and the game side.

Hi @Danielkart, Thank you for your ffb profile, I love them and use them from v1.5. But with newer version, I found that the wheel is oscillated when the car is stationary, I was able to fix it in v1.5 by playing with pithouse natural inertia config, I using Moza R5. But with this version I cannot get rid of it with the same config anymore. Is there a parameter in the file could reduce this oscillation?

I always turn off the visible steering wheel on the monitor. It's very confusing to see it twice when simulating on the monitor. In addition, various factors can influence this experience. FOV from the monitor, input lags, FPs drops, and the hardware you use. Have you recalibrated the pedals and steering axle with the update or your steering angle on the base? That might help too

Thanks for your work, mate. I've been using your files for a while now. Top notch. I made this suggested change and like it for me. My question is, If I want to play around with the strength of the self-correction of the wheel, what line(s) can I make adjustments to reduce that specific force? I'm thinking it might be a bit too strong for my liking at the default, but would like to experiment a bit. Thanks.

There are several reasons for this. I assume they are now using the extreme3 and here there are vibrations when standing. Originally this file was intended for belt bases but I noticed that weak dds give a better feeling with the belt file. Now there are many parameters that can increase or reduce these oscillations. In addition, a Moza R5 tends to swing more quickly than higher models. The notches are clearly noticeable on an R5, which causes the wheel to oscillate more quickly. Of course I don't want to badmouth your base, I just want to show you the differences. Now the question is which do you like better, the file where you have no vibrations when standing or the new file that has more details. I would try to set more damping and friction on the base, maybe 10% or 15%. Let me know if it gets better otherwise there are certainly ways to adjust an R5 in the file. You can also send me a personal message if you want;)

I used to have a lot oscillation with my Moza R9 Gen1 base & a part of it was that I had it poorly mounted (I use a somewhat improvised Rig that I can store away when I don‘t drive). Maybe this is something you can improve with your base?
I use Daniels latest file & I have no oscillation with it at all, but I reduce the FFB to 90% within Moza Pithouse & within the custom FFB file I reduced master_rack a little bit.

    @Stakanov @Danielkart @all
    Hi,
could you help me, because I am happy with the default+ profile but I feel the curbs are too weak, while the Bumps feel perfect. Is there a way to recreate the default+ profile but increasing the value of the curbs?
    Thanks

Been using this file and I think its almost perfect, very minimal and little noise.

However I tried some default + and I noticed It gave me a lot more information during lockup, with the custom ffb i feel nothing on lockups. Anyway to add just that information from the default profiles?

    # NAME: Rack_Force
    (rack (/ arm_force M_max_force_at_rack))
    (output rack)
    (output (* output gain))
    (histogram output)

    Hi,
which value should I increase to feel the curbs more (only the curbs not the bumps)?
    Thanks

Very strange settings, I don't know where they got them from. But this will not work or will work very poorly on your T818

Yo this question might be ****ing stupid but here we go:

Currently playing AMS2, feels really nice after the 1.6 update. As per Reiza's internal tester, I'm using the Default+ FFB profile, with Moza pit house set to the default AMS2 settings.

This feels really good, even I as a beginner can sort of feel what is going (not having driven cars irl makes it a bit harder to understand sometimes)

However, the only thing I'm not super satisfied with is the force needed to steer the car, it feels a little light. According to Reiza, it's best not to mess with Pit House settings and try and fix it in game.

My question: Is this only fixable through damping in AMS2, or is there a Pit House setting I could play with without affecting the overal FFB too much? All I want is a little more effort required to steer the car.

    Thanks :)

Edit: forgot to mention I'm on a Moza R5

This is not a stupid question. Even if you have never driven a car, it is still your personal feeling and you must like it. I don't think Reiza is telling you not to change any settings on your Moza R5, that would be really stupid. Change your settings in Pithouse to your liking

You can use more"wheel friction" in the base, which should improve your feel, or more "wheel damping" in the base

Thank you friend, will toy around with these! I figured I should ask chatGPT as well and it suggested upping the natural inertia in pit house too.. would that help as well or is it wrong? :)
