    Hi...

Since I am learning I need all the help I can get FELLING (and possibly NOT feeling) important things.

Possibly separating out certain things from my Moza R12 to the 3DRap Pedal and frame/seat rumbles/haptics, etc.

Esp. balancing on the edge of sliding, lockup, understeer and oversteer etc.

Seems some custom FFB file/adjustments will be better suited to this the others esp with rumbles.

I created a separate thread as I didn't want to make this one any longer. lol

    Help plz - FFB, Rumble/Haptic, Moza R12

Thank you all very much for you work and help!
    Geo

Hi Daniel, I've been using V6000 for my CSL DD and really happy, and so far tonight testing the new V7000 I'm really liking how connected I feel to the steering box/front tires, especially at lower speeds. However, for me the weight of the wheel is great until I get deep into a fast turn and then wheel is just far too heavy for my liking. What setting in Fanlab or in game may reduce this feeling but still keep the low-speed weight as is?

Does anyone know why my Custom FFB Collection that was on p. 320 of this thread no longer exists? If there were any controversy, I surely wasn't made aware of it....

Doesn't it have it's own thread?

Perhaps the mods were just cleaning up the forum. I personally find it a very useful resource.

    Good Idea!

Note: I did end up finding the original post (now on p. 317) that I had maintained within this thread. Going forward with any updates, I'll always reference the link provided above.

Never been a fan of your custom profile. Yet this one impressed me!
No serious complains. Nothing is to much exaggerated.
Finally not to much rolling resistance stupid vibrations at straight line with Simagic wheel !
Still lacks wheel load under braking.

Open the custom file. At the beginning of the file you will see the settings for your Simucube 2 Pro and the settings for the In-game settings.

Hi @Danielkart, I really like the overall feel of this, thank you.

One question: the wheel becomes very heavy the moment I turn it 90 degrees or more. So in slow tight corners I literally have to fight it to turn it 180 degrees. Is that expected?

I configured all settings exactly as you prescribed in the file, both in-game and in Moza Pit House. I run Moza R9.

No, that shouldn't be happening. Are you sure you've set the Pithouse to 900 degrees and enabled synchronization?

    I would try the following:
    1. Turn everything off and on again
    2. Go to the Pithouse and enable 900 degrees, and check if you can turn the wheel 900 degrees
    3. Now enable 180 degrees in the Pithouse and check if you can turn the wheel 180 degrees, then enable 900 degrees again
    4. If that's OK, start Ams2
    5. Recalibrate your steering wheel in-game
    6. Now test again with a car

If you're still having problems, send me a private message

I wish words could describe how great the feel is with your settings files. Thank you so much. Can I whisper a question here about this kind of file for LeMans Ultimate too? I love both sims.

Thank you for the information you posted to me personally. I'll answer you here because this question has arisen several times with Moza bases, and perhaps it will be helpful for other Moza users as well.Moza bases generally transfer a lot of power back to your hands, much more than, for example, a Simucube 2 Pro. I personally use my Moza R21 with about 2 Nm less force than for my Simucube 2 Pro (8-9 Nm). Additionally, they are very susceptible to vibrations (especially the R5/R9/R12).There are also big technical differences between the Moza versions.

I also noticed that you use a relatively high amount of in-game damping and, above all, a lot of "natural friction," which makes everything much heavier and sluggish. The custom file doesn't require this, so I recommend these values:

    In-game:
    Gain 63%
    LFB: 0
    FX: 12-18%
    Damping: 0%

    Base setting:
    Natural Friction: 0

I can also recommend the following change in the file for a Moza R5/R9/R12. This will definitely make tight corners much easier and require less effort. Of course, it also depends on the car. Change the following two lines, which now look like this:
    (rack_momentum_l (* 9 (spring tyre_l 100000 1 1) mom_FL))
    (rack_momentum_r (* 9 (spring tyre_r 100000 1 1) mom_FR))

    New to:
    (rack_momentum_l (* 8 (spring tyre_l 100000 1 1) mom_FL))
    (rack_momentum_r (* 8 (spring tyre_r 100000 1 1) mom_FR))

    Or to:
    (rack_momentum_l (* 7 (spring tyre_l 100000 1 1) mom_FL))
    (rack_momentum_r (* 7 (spring tyre_r 100000 1 1) mom_FR))

Thank you! Changing the rack_momentum to 7 solved the problem.

@Danielkart when I want to raise to 10Nm instead of 8Nm. Do I only have to raise the power in simucube software or in AMS2?

only at the base because there you only increase or decrease the pure power. In the game, increasing or decreasing the gain also changes other feedback, which can lead to clipping or loss of detail.
