Would be nice if you could include the usage of the ABS signal / variable (Pereira has used it in his FullFFB files), so you could feel when the ABS is kicking in, even if as an option you can enable in the file for those like me who don't have any haptics and might want to feel it thru the WB ffb (I'm assuming it's not included, at least I'm not aware of any other custom file than the FullFFB that has used it).

I have some oscilliations too, but I don't find them problematic as I tend to keep my hands on the wheel all the time.

Don't worry about my issue. I have tried everything you have said, including dropping Gain down to the 30's, but can not come to terms with this file. I will try a few more things when I get a chance, whenever that will be. Thanks again.

Would be good to have it work for you, since you're missing out :)

    Hi Karsten,
I'm using a VRS DFP wheel base and I'm getting ready to try out your new file.

    Hey Peter!

Good luck with it, it might require you to accept LFB somewhere 10-50 :)

    Best,

    -K

    rFuktor ? experimental 3.9.9.9.3

    * Added ABS effect.
    * Tuned it further. Let me know if it feels better or worse than 3.9.9.9.2. Only tested on 2 cars, so might be a miss.

3.9.9.9.3 feels a bit smoother when grip levels change like in high load corners to me. Overall I believe it to feel better. The ABS effect is very nice, the added detail under heavy braking is very informative that you are approaching a loss of grip at peak braking. I like this interpretation and implementation much better than the ABS effect used in Lemans Ultimate for my taste. I tested this at Interlagos in the Mclaren GEN2 gt3 the same as your previous files. I did not think the ffb could feel any better than the previous file but it does :)

Very nice work Karsten & Company !
At first I was feeling way too much forces.
Lowered Control Panel Gain to 35 with LFB at 0, and FX at 10, and it was better.
Reduced my VRS DFP 20 to Max Force 43, Inertia 3, and Static Force Reduction to 2, and it felt great.
Then all I needed to do was make a few tweaks inside your 3.9.9.9.2 file to fine tune the way I like the peak slip grip loss/recovery to feel.
I will drive it for a week and see how it goes, but I'm happy with it. Congrats on some great work there to all involved.
    Cheers!

What are people recommending these days for a SimuCube 2 Pro?

I like clean ffb. I've been finding some unintelligible ffb forces coming through in default ffb modes and some versions of rfuktor, including the latest.

Do you or somebody else have any recommended settings/adjustments for a T300? Since the gap between that and your used wheel is pretty big :D

I'm running a simucube 2 pro. You might not have wheel base settings or perhaps ingame settings set up best for the file.
    Please post your settings.

@Peykan might be able to help you out. He's running DD as well as t300.

Hi Karsten. I just tried experimental 3.9.9.9.3, and it is amazing. Initially it felt light even tough I prefer lighter FFB - I usually run my CSL DD 8nm at 35% in-game. I bumped it up to 45% gain in AMS2 and now it is fantastic. I feel the tearing (subtly, as I like it) until the fronts break loose and the FFB goes noticeably lighter. Even though the fronts are sliding and the FFB is lighter, I don't loose feedback completely; i.e. there is still friction being reflected in the feedback. I typically race vintage cars at vintage tracks, but the Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II is SO GOOD at Spa. I can't see that it can get any better; but then, I said that of 3.9.4 (which I labeled as "GOAT" in my downloads folder). Thanks again for this amazing work and for sharing it with us.

It might be forbidden to talk about T300 in 2025, but that's what I'm racing with these days. As Karsten mentioned, I have a T818, an Evo and T300.
I have a feeling that majority of the sim engines were designed around the belt system; a design that is hard to change or need some more time to adopt with the DD bases or DDs need to improve in terms of that crucial feeling. I just don't get the same mechanical/rubber sensenation of T300 on the other two bases and I'd like to stick to that mindset.

T300 sucks in full force and long sessions because of the overheating problem, but I fixed that with installing two fans on top and massive holes on the body for ventilation. As funny and stupid the picture I've attached might look; this base which I bought in 2020 can run a 15 laps of Nürburgring without any problems.

I've been having a blast with 3.9.9.9.2 and when I jumped here; I saw 3.9.9.9.3 was released and I'm very excited to try it next time.

My recommendation for T300 is first, to install fans on top. That will help to keep the tiny motor and internal power supply cool. You also need to drill some holes on both sides (lower part of the base) to let the hot air out. Think about it as the cooling fans on your PC and follow that guide.

My setting for the base is:
Everything 100% except Damper and Spring.
Boost off and 900 rotation for ASM2 and 1080 for Truck Simulators.

    In AMS2:
The latest files require more FFB so I find myself running 80 to 84. The LFB on T300 can not exceed 10 or you will spin on high/mid speed turns specially when you set the FFB high as I do.
FX is set to 12. I don't like noisy chatty FFB.
The Thrustmaster wheels are on the lighter side in terms of weight so in order to get the best experience you need some heavy wheels. SF1000 is an amazing wheel and I absolutely dig the feeling of that piece. The screen is awesome too because it's synced with AMS2 and telemetry is fully compatible with SF1000. Let's say you have a 20 minutes race, how many laps is that? The wheel will tell you before the race starts so no more guess work or calculations. Also, it will communicate the distance between the car behind and front plus the tire temperature so you can keep your racing screen clean with less data.

Hope this helps and don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have,

    Sean

These are very new files, so likely you will need to test your way.
Use a gt4 car at first, the mclaren is pretty forgiving.

Here is a suggested starting point:

    Wheelbase:
I don't know fanalabs, but start with everything at 0. No damping, friction or inertia.

    Ingame:
    LFB: 15
    FX: 10
    Damping: 0
Force: whatever makes it not too strong on cornering at speed

When the force feels right and you are getting close you canexpoeriment with the LFB, try in the range 0-70.

If you find good settings, please post them here.

    Currently using:

    -Fanatec: Spring-Damper are off

    -In-Game
    Gain: 70
    LFB: 20-25 (depend on car)
    FX:30-35

i have to use a little bit stronger LFB and FX, because the CSW V2 is not a DD wheel...btw no oscillations in this settings, not under hard braking, but I dont feel the curbs, only a little at low speed.

ok, it seems like the FX slider maybe should be able to adjust the curbs more up. Do you feel the suspension?

Yup, i feel the suspension, everything seems fine, I just have the curb "issue" :)
Is it recommended, to turn on the "Spring" on the base, or leave it off ?
